optimizations still not good even after patch but still a great game. nothing else quite fills the niche that insurgency has. especially since all my friends play br games which force you to shoot the enemies head 9 different times with both guns that you are carrying, Insurgency is a fresh breath of life for me.

looking back at it, i am wildly impressed by The Evil Within 2's campaign. It covered a nice wide variety of horror elements and it varies a lot between enemies, game play mechanics, and scenery and I have to say I enjoyed it all. The story itself is robust and draining and while it takes after the Resident Evil series game play wise, It really does ground itself in its own brand. I would call this game a horror epic and one of the more important action horror games to be released this decade. Buy this game on sale or full price. They really put good work into this and Horror fans on edge will not be disappointed either way!

This is my favorite shooter of all time, and i feel so bad that no other game in the series could capture the essence and atmosphere that the first one had. Id do anything for a new game that remotely feels like FEAR 1



EDIT: im an old ass man at the ripe age of almost thirty and I'm still replaying this game to this day. It's the most timeless shooter ever. A god among single player shooters.


This game is still relevant to me and I remember when you needed a cutting edge computer for this absolute glory of a title. It's beautiful in every single way and since I first played the demo as a wee lad to my bitter old age, I never found love and I wanna say the closest thing i have experienced is playing this game at any given time. What I am trying to tell you is that Im using this updated review to announce that I'm getting married to FEAR 1 (2005)

You may play this game with my blessing but you can't marry it because it's already my perfect bride and I'll die on this hill.

I threw a tantrum when my 30 mins were up so I guess that means the game is good.

People talk about muffin killing but really its all about hamburger slapping. i would re download a hundred gigs worth just to slap people with hamburgers again. 10/10 best series always delivers imo

Though it can be slow and barren feeling sometimes, I really love this games concept and the updates they are putting out! The theme is awesome and it plays like express lane Escape from Tarkov. Really looking forward to some major content updates in the future. Oh one last thing, the emphasis on audio feedback in this game and how it relates to stealth mechanics is one of my favorite things and most multiplayer shooters dont have this.

Friendo gifted this to me. This game has some seriously f*cked up Sh*t in it. I was happy to have played this but at the same time I was deeply perturbed by it.
