Early Access Review
Edit 442+ hours:
If I could put a "recommend for non-f2p", I'd do that. The game is fully enjoyable for f2p, but a lot of the buys from store feels like musthaves. For my amount of hours, I've personally felt it has been worth it to buy all of them. But I'd personally prefer a one-time payment and it being fair between players.

Im enjoying the game quite a lot, I've also played the other variants of this game before.

Sadly, I cannot recommend the game, the combination of a leaderboard and the extreme pay to win (You can buy 3x damage on the store, this cannot be bought through gems, only through real money). Theres other things that bascially gives you a huge unfair advantage when it comes to speed, but the 3x damage one is so blatantly pay to win that noone can talk themself out of that.

The premium bundles themselves costs about 90$ and are 100% needed to be high on the leaderboard. You can of course also buy resource packs and rune packs, both affecting gameplay by a lot.

I personally bought the speedup one, but I'd rather say straight out "stay away" than that the game is good, with this unfair whaling process ...

Edit:
93 hours in, used about 50$ total currently, lower than ranked 100#, though used the 40$ rest today, only used 10$ before on max speed. Still enjoying the game, still wouldn't reccommend the game unless you are planning on spending at least 10$ for enjoyment though. As a f2p its just way too big difference between whales and normal players.

Leaderboards, shmeaderboards. Does a number in an utterly irrelevant virtual environment really bother you so much?

Just accept that you aren't going to 'win' against people with more money than sense, and such a lack of self-esteem that 'being number one' is their only way of self-validating.

I think give this one a try. And if it's good, I'll maybe drop the developers some beer money. But after that? Maybe throwing money at a pointless power up would be far better spent on the charity of my choice.
