This is fun and adorable

For critiques on the current state of the game:
1. The fastest combat speed setting isn't fast enough, especially with complex CR-8 inventories. 2x faster than the current fastest could be good.
2. Maybe add an option to autosave more frequently (after each combat? after each room?). Clearing 90% of a floor and then dying currently loses a ton of progress, especially since you can manually save anyway.

I like it. You enact/cancel policies and adjust weights on them to tune the government/economy while trying to keep people happy enough to re-elect you.

That said, certain things are annoying here and there. The biggest one for me is that there are a lot of values that are too easy to max out. That might not bother me so much if you could easy see just how "overprovisioned" something is. For example, it's super easy to max out the "health" of your population. But I have no idea if I'm 10% over max or 50% over max. If the chart just told me, it would be a lot easier to reinvest resources in things that would actually make a difference.
