It is absolutely necessary to apply the "Unofficial Patch" ( https://www.patches-scrolls.de/patch/4647/7 )with the Patch Plus version.
Modders working with Troika have been able to finish the game with redone assets, new quests, classes and all kinds of things.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone... lots of replayability and the story is awesome too. :D
