This game has a lot of great ideas and has the bones of a very fun tower defense game.

The issue is the ideas are not fleshed out or fall flat due to other mechanics within the game. With the developer mentioning in discord they are moving on from the game I cannot recommend it in its current state.

I really enjoyed my first 3-5 hours of this game and had I written a review at that time I would of recommended this 100%, the concept of building your own maze how long you can last is really interesting as a concept.
However after that, the game falls off fast, once you get upgrades the game is not well balanced at all.
My last 10-15 hours were just setup 5-6 turrets over a couple of levels then AFK just letting the game run in the background with zero interaction besides start next level button and every 10-15 waves dropping another tower and spamming a few upgrades, just to farm the last achievement.

It would be worth it on sale for an interesting concept idea and the first few hours, where it is a really enjoyable and unique tower defense from my experience.

This isn't really a game, as much as it is just an experience, in the same way that having your arm shoved into a working LawnMower is an experience......

This is not a game, its a shell of a product designed to get silly people to buy it.
There are multiple ways to completely break your progress, the controls make no sense and the hunger system on makes an already unenjoyable game even worse.

When I was in Highschool, the pirated version of this game circled all the school computers.
We had competitions against each other to beat times, we spent hours and hours playing this.
Now I'm much older and I brought the steam version to support the dev and to say thanks for all the fond memories, I play this with my son and he loves watching 'The Bike game go crash' such an amazing game for the price and even better for the memories, thanks Dev!

I clicked a cookie, it was fun.
I clicked again it was fun.
1700 hours later, I still click the cookie it is fun.
Would love another cookie to click.

Overall I enjoyed my time with Graveyard keeper, a fun take on a crafting game.
I really enjoyed this game, the crafting side and the body management was really neat.
That said this game isn't perfect, it has a few cracks which show near the end.
EG: such as the issue with Alchemy machines (recipes that craft in level one can't craft in level two)


If your a fan of these types of games it will keep you interested for a long time and is worth the $30(AUD) price tag

I really wanted to like this game, playing other games of the similar genre and having a blast (like a Story about my Uncle, or Cyber hook) but the experience was fairly unpleasant and after 17 minutes I'd had enough, its the first 15-30 minutes of a game where you have to get the player hooked and I just couldn't enjoy it.

The Bad:
1: The Grapple feels horrible, it just doesn't have enough pull with it to make for a fun time, multiple times if I did a long range grapple the grapple would just stop pulling near the end leaving me floating in mid air.
2: Invisible walls ruin the fun aspect of the hook, this shows really badly in level 3 where you can't jump over the first large tree hill you see.
3: The Music and its relation to death, its been mentioned before by a lot of other people, the jarring instant death and restart into level and music restart gets very old very quickly.

The Good:
1: The level themes are nice adding a different challenge to each.
2: The intractable objects are interesting, I'd just like more.

I was pretty salty when I first wrote my review but let me explain better:

I had put three hours into this game, grinding levels over and over again to fast track and unlock the best car because I thought that was a fun way to play, when I finally did I did a race to test the handling of the car.

I was super low on money I just wanted to play with it, however I kept crashing and ended up damaging my car too much, when I got out of the race and had no money left the game removed all unlocks and reset me from scratch, all tracks all cars gone.

This is really bad game design, I can understand a punishment for this hell, its even got an achievement tied to it so the Dev knew what would happen but this is way too much and will cause many players like myself to just give up on the game.
All the little bits of enjoyment I had during this silly over the top game were ruined by this moment and every-time I think about re-installing this game that moment resonates with me and I just move on.

I cannot recommend a game that is designed to punish the player so hard.

This game is a quick little puzzle like game where you take on the role of a crew-member trying to solve the deaths of three other crew.
This game will not blow you away with its graphics or story and the Humour may be a little crude.
I can't see a target audience for this game, the mini games range from boring to just ok.

This game is the single best rogue-like I have played.
The mechanics feel great, smooth platforming and interesting mix of enemies.
The game never feels super unfair I cannot recommend this enough if you enjoy rogue-like.
