How does one begin describing such an achievement?

God of War being Ported to PC is an absolute masterpiece and the art is no exception. The game feels incredibly well optimized and I don't think many will find issue running this with respective settings. Running at 4k with 60+ fps is well suited for last generation cards assuming you tone down a few options that wont derail your experience.

Combat in my opinion is the only weak part of the game and its hardly a weak point at all. You may find moments where timing the correct attack that you've done hundreds of times just seems to fall off, likely user error but feels a smidgen off. I wouldn't even say this is a knock against the game because it feels so smooth from start to start again.

The scale of this game for those of us who haven't played on PlayStation can be explained with one word. Immense. Immense in a way that isn't intimidating, rather the camera provides the feeling of exploration and guidance that lets time drift by you as you explore the lakes, marshes, mountains, and hells of this bountiful world. There is beauty and disgust to be found everywhere, heart felt moments of parenting, skull crushing, sternum ripping, and limb splitting that will leave you craving for more. Besides who doesn't want to ride a massive enemy on the brink of death wreaking crushing death upon its own allies.

There is no lack of options to how you play your character, nothing will ever be as joyful as accidentally pushing a set of buttons the first time only to realize you should use them all the time. Runic power is king and the ability to hone in on your favorite hack and slash destruction can't be ignored.

The story; if everything else was to score a 0 would keep God of War alive.
This game may as well be a movie where you enter the life of an absolute blood thirsty monster looking to become more reasonable and easy going, but no that life is denied, and you're thrown into the chaos of another line of barbaric devastation in a simple effort to fulfill a loved one swishes. It will take you on a journey of what it means to be a father and fight for what you believe to be right only to realize you were wrong in your assumptions. You shall discover secrets of those individuals your child trusts and understand the distance Kratos holds over all living beings. You'll flirt cautiously with masterful fairy smiths that believably meet you after a nice 100 km hike up the side of a mountain or transverse to another dimension to let you wield death in your blades. You'll learn to understand the wishes of those you care for the most and see your character become the best possible version of themselves while still being an absolute weapon of destruction.

Hands down the best game I've ever played and PlayStation, here me out, Ragnarok needs to be on PC as soon as fathomably possible PLEASSEEE.
