So finally caught up and finished Outlast on stream.

This was my horror game for a while and it did deliver, to say the least, the story, the plot, and the entire subtle that it builds fits so perfectly with the game and the emotions running through your body while playing.

So let's break it down -

Graphic wise the game is nothing impressive but the graphics truly does fit the atmosphere that exists within the game and the way the game is played out, you won't go WOAW over them but you won't think they are bad either, they fit perfectly and it is clear that the developers put a lot of love into matching the graphics/environment with what you feel and how your emotions are running rapid in your body.

Gameplay-wise this is really where the game shines, you will scream, cry, go wtf and be massively surprised as you play through the game, there is so many twists and turns that you won't even know where to start or where to end but that is what makes Outlast a worthy title to be among the top horror games that I've played just after Alien Isolation.

Story-wise the game takes an inexperienced character and puts you into the worst nightmare you can possibly imagine and destroys any chance you have of ever finding peace and quiet afterward, not gonna lie I had my lights on after every stream during the night due to this game and I'm freaking 35!

Sound-wise, I know it is rare I even bring up the sound effects or sounds at all but for this game it fits perfectly, it matches every step, every emotion, every scared little person you've ever heard of, and EVEN if you feel like you are prepared you are REALLY not.
