Jeden univerzitný profesor na známej vysokej škole prednášal a vyzval svojich študentov
otázkou:
"Stvoril Boh všetko čo existuje?"
A jeden študent odvážne odpovedal "Áno Pane!"

"Stvoril Boh naozaj všetko ?" - spýtal sa znovu profesor.
"Áno iste" - zopakoval študent.

Profesor pokračoval... "no keď Boh stvoril všetko, čo existuje, tak stvoril aj zlo. No a na
základe toho môžeme tvrdiť, že Váš Boh je zlo, tyran a vrah." Študent stíchol, no a pán
profesor bol so sebou nadmieru spokojný a chvastal sa pred študentmi, ako mu bravúrne
dokázal, že jeho viera je iba mýtus.
Študenti sa hlasno smiali...
No po chvíli sa študent opäť prihlásil:
"
Môžem sa Vás spýtať niečo pán profesor?"
"Samozrejme!" - odvetil profesor.
Študent položil otázku : "Existuje zima?"
"No čo je toto za otázku, samozrejme, že existuje. Tebe vari nikdy nebola zima?"
Ostatní študenti sa začali na jeho otázke smiať. Mladý muž povedal : " Pane v skutočností,
zima neexistuje. Podľa zákonov fyziky, zima je v skutočností len neprítomnosť tepla. A každé
telo alebo predmet je citlivý na zmenu prostredia alebo prenos energie. Absolútna nula je
vlastné neprítomnosť tepla. Vtedy sa všetka hmota stáva nehybnou a neschopnou reakcie
v tejto teplote. Zima teda neexistuje. To iba človek vymyslel toto slovo na vyjadrenie , keď
cíti nedostatok tepla."
Študent ešte pokračoval : "A existuje tma ?"
"Samozrejme !" - hovorí profesor.
" No ani tma neexistuje, tma je v skutočností neprítomnosť svetla. Svetlo môžeme skúmať
no, tmu nie. Tu môžeme použiť Newtonov pokus na lámanie bieleho svetla na mnoho farieb.
No nemôžeme odmerať ničím tmu. Jediným lúčom svetla túto tmu môže zlomiť... a odmerať
silu akú svetlo vydáva. Preto aj tma je iba slovo, ktoré vymyslel človek, keď chcel opísať čo
sa deje, keď nie je svetlo."

Nakoniec študent položil tretiu otázku: "Pane a existuje zlo?"
"Samozrejme !" - ako vždy odvetil profesor.
" No vidíme ho každodenne v ľudskej nehumanite k blížnemu, zlo vidíme všade vo svete.
Sme presvedčení, že to nemôže byť nič iné ako zlo. No zlo v skutočností neexistuje, pane,
aspoň nie samo o sebe. Zlo je absenciou Boha. Je to ako s tmou a zimou. Je to slovo,
ktorým chcel človek vyjadriť

...nedostatok Boha.

Boh nestvoril zlo! Zlo je dôsledkom toho, keď človek nemá dostatok Božej lásky. Božia láska
je jeho darom v našom srdci. Je to ako zima, keď tu nie je teplo a tma, keď tu nie je žiadne
svetlo."

The altar server occupies a privileged place in the liturgical celebration. He who serves at Mass, presents himself to a community. He experiences firsthand that Jesus Christ is present and active in every liturgical act. Jesus is present when the community comes together to pray and render praise to God. Jesus is present in the Word of sacred Scripture. Jesus is present above all in the Eucharist under the signs of bread and wine. He acts through the priest who, in the person of Christ, celebrates the holy Mass and administers the sacraments.

Therefore, in the liturgy, you are much more than simple "helpers of the parish priest." Above all, you are servers of Jesus Christ, of the eternal High Priest. Thus, you, altar servers, are called in particular to be young friends of Jesus. Be determined to go deeper and to cultivate this friendship with him. You will discover that in Jesus you have found a true friend for life. - St. John Paul II.
