Now for the serious review:

I'll just start out with this: buy this game. It is incredible amounts of fun.

--Seriousness--
Fans of Saints Row 2 have critized this game a lot for not being a true gangster game anymore. I,as a fan of Saints Row 2 and disliker of Saints Row 3,disagree. Yes,it's completely mental,but that's what makes it fun. A true gangster SR game would've been critized for being a Grand Theft Auto rip-off,even if it wasn't. And it would need to compete with GTA,which SR frankly can't win. The obvious choice here was to distance themselves from realism and play around with superpowers and aliens. Yeah,you read that right. You become the president of the USA,you get abducted by aliens and you get thrown into a simulation where you get superpowers. And it works.

--Story--
I'll keep it short,because I don't want to spoil anything. It somehow still has dramatic moments. It also has extremely funny moments. All in all,a suprisingly good story.

Now for just the Pros and Cons:

--PROS--
+Superpowers. They work great,are not that overpowered and are extremely fun.
+Progression. You can level up and spend your cash on player upgrades,or find ''orbs'' and spend those on superpower upgrades. And the end of the game,you really feel like you've accomplished something.
+Customization. Although many people think the vehicles are now useless because of the superpoweres,customizing them is even more fun now. You can also upgrade weapons,and the charachter creator and clothes selection are sublime as ever.
+Humor. This game is really funny. That's all i'm going to say.
+Co-op. Playing this game with 2 people is even more fun than playing on your own.
+Fun factor. This game doesn't forget what games are about: fun. Realism is thrown out the window for pure fun. And believe me,this game is a LOT of fun.

--CONS--
-Vehicles. Many people believe vehicles are now useless. They are,don't get me wrong,but I still like driving them around. Still,they are pretty useless.
-Not gangster. I personally don't think this is a con,but i'll include it because plenty of people think it is.


--CONCLUSION--
Completely insane amounts of fun. If you don't mind unrealistic games,this is a must-buy.
