New case temps on both cpu and gpu dropped like 10c, I think the case was too restricted...not really in size but airflow.

Yeah, I can see what you are talking about. What I am thinking is that the heat from the CPU cooler heatsink is causing the GPU backplate to warp. Your GPU and CPU temps will probably be fine, but these CPU heatsinks can get warm as it pulls the heat from the CPU. The bending is right below the CPU cooler, so it must be the aluminum heatsink. And I didn't notice that it was a mATX case. You probably don't need a full tower case, but a good mid-tower ATX case might help with airflow and dispersing of some of that heat from the heat sink.
