I'm going to do the whole checklist thing because its simple and helps people understand but for greater depth ill explain my reasoning underneath. I also have played FH5 for quite a lot longer on xbox but i decided i would rather play it on pc hence my purchase of the game on steam

The game is absolutely stunning, the cars look real on a good monitor and everything is clear and distinguishable from each other. A significant improvement from FH4.

Its a car game at the end of the day; if you like car games you will like FH5 if you don't you wont like it. its a blend between ultra realistic car racing games and arcade racing games, no its not Mario cart wii but don't expect to be able to do your driving test on this.

Honestly the audio is a little disappointing, at least for me. The cars sounded fine; although im not a car maniac so i cannot tell you how realistic these sounds were but most cars sounded how they look like they should of. What dissapointed me was the music, it defiantly was a step down from FH4 which in my opinion sounded great. The start screen in particular is frail in comparison to A moment apart by ODESZA (FH4 start screen music) and even though i did not use the radio much in FH4 i found myself not wanting to use it at all in FH5. To be fair this is partly because the first song i heard was a song popular on tiktok and i have a personal vendetta against that app.
Overall though it wasn't bad just not as good.

Optimisation isn't that great and even though mid range pc's should run it fineish FH5 likes video memory like chrome likes RAM.

Completely depends on settings that you get extra bonuses for playing at higher difficulty, which is nice.

☐ You'll need a second life for grinding

You can complete the game without grinding but if you want to get top scores on leaderboards your going to have to grind for that perfect run and the credits for the perfect car which can get quite pricey.

Its got a story, wont make you cry or think about in bed when you fall asleep, its mainly just used to intro you to different events and some sort of campaign that you can follow.
