Back when Valheim came out, nobody expected it.
It came out of nowhere, and oh boy, did it deliver.

This, right here, what you're seeing right now, is the next one in the series. Came out of nowhere, oh boy does it deliver.
Man, combine the feel of a MOBA like League of Legends, with a semi-open world and 60 players on it, add progression,
gear, skills, bosses, building, and you have yourself 1-2 weeks of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun I tell you.

Now don't get me wrong, there are issues, a few bugs here and there, but nothing game breaking, all in all, for an early access game, it has the level of quality that most released games do not.

I initially left a positive review for this game, after only a few dozen hours.
I have to admit fault when fault is due.

Mortal Online 2 has been steadily decreased in population and also, if i dare say, quality, over the past few months.

The launch was catastrophic, but thats not why you are here, the launch is behind us, let's talk about what changed that made me feel differently now.

1. They removed red priests. What does this mean? It means that if you are a criminal (A person who has murdered at least 5 people) and you want to respawn after you die, you are looking at 30+ minutes of walking naked in the woods. I say that right. Now people might say that there are ways around it, and yes, yes you can spend 3 weeks grinding materials for a stronghold, buy and pay a priest and ressurect that way, but its not really a solution now is it? It's very hard for a new player to do this, borderline impossible.
And ok, let's say you want to play the game as a blue player (non criminal). Well good luck with that, one single fight in which you help your criminal friend, and boom, you're a murderer, 5 murder counts can be gotten in 1 minute of playtime, you just have to lightly tap the guy on the shoulder and he reports you for murder after somebody else kills him, or he jumps off a cliff 10 minutes later.

2. They added a bounty system that , not only does not pay you gold, it actually TAKES AWAY GOLD , hear me out, they said they needed a gold sink, and that its better for us to pay money for bounties. You have to pay money to get a contract, 5 gold each, more often than not, its a target 10 km away, and by the time you get there they logoff. Boom, spend another 5 gold, walk another 10 km, lets say you kill him, you just spent 5 hours and 10 gold for 250 exp points and 3 rep points. Congratulations.
Let me say another thing, the player you killed through your bounty contract can be killed in town, next to the bank, next to the guards...

3. The game is riddled with bugs, you open your house chest, it crashes your game, you disembark your horse, your weapon is invisible, you respawn at your priest, you are stuck in the floor untill a GM can teleport you out...

And many many many many more...
These devs make the game worse every single patch. I cannot condone this. You should not buy this. The game will be dead in the water in 2-3 more months. Please dont give them money, they dont know how to use them.

If you ever think to yourself that all the people cursing about 'Dev' and 'Staff' abuse here are lying... well, no, they are not.

I was playing Wurm Online religiously. Every single day. 5+ hours a day, on a PVP server.
Now, there were only 2 actual kingdoms (groups of people ,think "guilds" or "clans" ). Us : "Wurm University" and
the enemy "The Crusaders".
One day, we went over to their Island Village to attack it. We were there with 14-15 people. Now, we've done most of
what could be done on that particular day, it was getting late, and, me and the other europeans have gone to sleep for the most part. Only 3-4 people remained on the enemy island village to grief it.

What happened after that? One of the 3-4 people that remained there supposedly abused a glitch. It was an odd glitch that was able to let you bypass through cave walls and get inside enemy stashes. This particular glitch was used by 1, at most 2 people at my 3-4AM. I have been asleep, and my character had been logged off for more than 2 hours.

I turn on my PC the next day. I, instinctively start up Wurm, try to login. I am greeted by a Ban Hammer warning.
I was banned. Me. For something that was done by 1-2 other guys.
Not only that. ALL THE 14-15 ACCOUNTS THAT HAVE BEEN PRESENT HOURS BEFORE THE GLITCH WERE BANNED.

This is not all. The enemies? They knew. Here's the thing, the Crusaders had developers in their ranks. Literal developers were playing on a PVP server. so... they knew exactly who and how many of us were banned. What happened after that you might ask? WE GOT ATTACKED. WE HAD TO DEFEND WITH LEVEL ONE ACCOUNTS FOR ONE FULL WEEK.

It gets better. After investigation, Staff has deemed the fact that that glitch is not actually a bannable offence. So.... they reverted all the bans. BUT WAIT, remember reading through the ratings here that this game has a subscription? Me, and 14 other people could not login to their characters for a full week. Do you think we got that gametime reimbursed or anything? NOPE. Do you think the damage that the enemy had done to us during that week of daily sieges has been reverted back ONE BIT? Nope.

Please dont ever touch this. This game's team don't deserve your money. Or anyone else's.
If you really want to play this game, get Wurm Unlimited, you can find it on steam as well, buy it on sale, it goes for like 5 bucks. That one is a dedicated server version of Wurm, you have no subscription, own your own server, can apply your own settings, and are your own master.

Load up.
Friend makes server.

I start terraforming the mountain.
I make walk ways, fortifications, I have a campfire every 10 meters, several houses.
I kill wolves in any and every which way imaginable.
I stab them.
I shoot them.
I poison them.
I burn them.
I kick them.
There are no more wolves.
Life is good.
I like game.

Yes, play.

Pubg is the discount version of this and they even charge you for it.

There is though a great difference between a free and a payed player.... the one who payed can actually play the game..... : "The server is at full capacity" "Your connection to the host was lost" Sounds familiar? Well you can only search for quick matches in the free version and most of the times they won't work. If you wanna play it, buy it.
