I play games. I review the games I play. I play more games.
I do other things too. I collect Department 56 buildings (but not Snow Village).

In addition to wrygrass I've played games under the following aliases:
Kais (This was my character's name during the short time I played Star Trek Online)
Raziel (This was what I named my character in Skyrim and Stardew Valley)
Murdok (got 2nd place at a local UT2004 LAN tournament under this name).

I rate the Blue Revolver Soundtrack 3.5/5. This is a pretty good soundtrack overall. It's probably even better if you like the kind of frenetic techno music which tends to appear in arcade style shoot em up action games.

+ I think it is complete and includes all the music used in the game.

+ Track lengths are good and songs end properly.

+ This purchase gives you almost 2 and half hours of music in total.

+/- If you like the kind of frenetic quasi-techno/tokyo pop style music that is usually used in these kinds of shoot em up arcade-style games, you will probably LOVE this soundtrack. This soundtrack represents the epitome of this style of music and shows what it can be when it is done properly. While this is not really my favorite kind of music in general, even I cannot deny that there are a few good songs here with strong, wistfully moving and memorable central melodies if you can manage to look past the repetitive beats and silly bleeping sounds. I particularly liked Exit 133 and Qygenomics (Blue Phoenix Remix) which emotionally rise well beyond the scope of a mere shallow arcade action game experience.

- If I remember correctly, this purchase includes 2 soundtrack folders which I had to manually combine together into a single soundtrack folder (which was a little irritating). I prefer all the music from a particular game to be organized into the same folder even if some of the tracks are remixed versions.

- If you really hate techno music you'll probably hate this too, despite the nice underlying melodies.
