Factorio is a stellar, first-class game for simulating factory automation and production, and more importantly, a very original creation. While most games are based from the same ideas borrowed from other successful games, Factorio is developed with all original ideas from yet another group of very talented programmers in Eastern Europe.



While the graphics aren't the main attraction in this game, they are basic and functional in order to play the game. The intensity of the graphics won't interfere with performance while building a very large factory with thousands of entities. If factory automation is something you find interesting, using conveyor belts and oil pipelines to automatically deliver ammunition to your turrets to fight invading aliens, then you should check this game out.


Pros:

- Works well on Mac OS X along with Windows.

- 100% Original content, with brand new ideas to the gaming industry.

- Performance is still very good even with a very large factory.

Cons:

- While the game supports multiplayer mode, I had trouble with constant map desync. This will probably be improved upon in the future.
