PC players waited this long to Finish the Fight, and despite the inconsistencies and rough edges betraying Bungie's Original Vision™, 343 and its partners were the ones to get it done. There's A Lot of Halo in this game and the technical challenges involved in making it all work meant that problems were to be expected. I've waited all this time and I'm still more than satisfied, especially if 343 keeps their word about the upcoming features like official mod tools and a custom game browser. Who knows, maybe we'll see a new age of Halo modding like Custom Edition and El Dewrito brought us before, but now with mainstream exposure.

I used to play N way back in 2005 and I'm super excited to see the game's return in such a glorious "ultimate" take on the concept. I haven't played much, but right now there's not much room for things that could cause me to retract my recommendation.

GOTTA GO FAST

This game's singleplayer campaign is rather cinematic and epic and all that, but that's not where the gold lies. There's just no competing with DICE's ability to create extremely intense and immersive online multiplayer experiences in their Battlefield series. Not to mention the pleasing graphics and impressive sound design.
