My favorite series of all time, been playing Monster Hunter for years, love every single game and put thousands on hours on each (except World and Rise cause life catches up). Rise is, as every other secondary game in a generation, a lot more fast passed than world which makes it really, really fun, and is especially good with friends. Monster Hunter games are grindy, so be ready for that, but all and all and awesome experience.

To Capcom, thank you for making such a wonderful game.

Edit: Capcom... adding post launch DRM is no bueno, if a game has been released, give it updates but don't do any big changes like so, and even at that, DRM is usually not good. I really love this game, but the recent issues with SteamDeck (luckily they got fixed quickly) and performance drops (which is especially important on a device like the Deck) are really tough to go bye. On a device where I want to save as much power as I can to play, I used to get smooth 60 frames, which now I've seen drop to nearly 45 and, does have an impact.
