Now, you either like Serious Sam games or you don't. If you do, this one is the game for you.

Pros:
- Well paced and fun gameplay
- Ridiculous weapons, gadgets and vehicles
- Much better visuals than previous same engine Serious Sam 4; at parts even stunning
- Arctic setting in Siberia feels new and refreshing
- Lot's of interesting bosses and easter eggs
- Feels very full of content compared to Serious Sam 4 which was in parts empty
- Voice acting is rather good, loved the voice of brand and the puns

Cons:
- Animations are sometimes janky, especially in cinematics
- Rather short (8 hours for me)
- Texture popin and performance issues; only in cinematics for me, probably will be patched

Levels are challenging yet not frustrating; just right. Weapons are fun to use and vehicles ridiculous as they should be. Compared to Serious Sam 4 this one is much better paced and feels like it's full of content, everywhere you're able to you usually find something worthwhile.

Easter eggs, while probably not exactly part of the game story and such itself, are also really top notch here. The dev team really put effort into those. Not everyone's cup of tea, but they really spiced up the experience for me.

Visually this is much more appealing than Serious Sam 4 also. I felt the lighting was rushed in that previous game, but here they have perfected it, at parts making it even look stunning. Now graphically I wouldn't consider this game AAA quality, but it gets very close which is insane considering Croteam built the engine themselves.

All in all I consider it to be one of the best installations in the whole series; I played through the whole game on one sitting.
