To be honest, its not bad, but fatshark clearly hasnt learned a single thing from vermintide 2, and theres no reason you should play or buy this game when you could just be playing vermintide 2.
The systems dont seem to make sense, getting gear relies purely on RNG, with effectively no means of actually getting a weapon you want at your item level without just hoping it shows up in the very small shop inventory. There's no incentive to go for grimoires or scriptures like there was in VT2, since -especially at max level- all they give you is a pitiful amount of money, which you wont need, and XP, which you're probably capped on.
The gameplay itself *feels* fine, but they've gone one step forward, two steps back from VT. The melee mechanics no longer make sense, and you can watch enemies skate after your party members for days to ensure that attacks connect when they really shouldn't. The combat systems feel like they're fighting against each other constantly, instead of flowing naturally.
You can't pick the mission and difficulty you want to play on, instead you get a preset combination of a few levels with predetermined difficulty levels to pick from, which shuffle on a timer.
This is just a couple highlights, the fatshark forums are loaded with essays on why the mechanics dont make sense, and every set of patch notes seems to further cement the idea that they havent actually paid any attention to the feedback on their core systems.

There's a lot of good in the core game and it could be great eventually, but it's just not there right now and there arent many signs of its biggest issues being solved soon.
