More fun than a lot of the actual VR games. The mixture of platforming, puzzling and physics with action and story is literally perfect for virtual reality. Now go play the mod for episode 1 and 2! Maybe even HL1! (you're missing the physics fun in it but it's still really cool) <3

The designers have decided to make all of the interesting mechanics not worth interacting with because all you need to do is play Light with swords, which is what at least 6 members of, and I am not exaggerating, *every single lobby* is.

Also, the pink city map is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful.

Fix the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, it isn't that hard.

One of the best looking games I've seen in recent time. Super unique as well; it's a deck building, world building auto battler. You can sink hours into it and enjoy every second. One of 3 games I've ever pre-purchased. Completely worth the full price, and a total bargain on sale.

Lets you use your imagination whilst having a cool story that isn't overbearing, with a bunch of easy to understand mechanics that still have lots of depth to them, which only gains more depth the deeper you get into the game, i.e. the 2nd chapter etc.

10/10 recommend uwu

I'm not even a fan of the show save for enjoying the villains, but this and Mortal Kombat are by far two of the coolest looking fighter games I've tried. The animations on this are awesome, and if you haven't played much of fighter games before I feel like it's quite a good one to get started. :D

Even with all the fixes, the servers are still too ♥♥♥♥ to enjoy yourself for more than 10 minutes at a time. You'll be sat around waiting for items to get into your inventory or for hits to register, or you'll find someone to explore with only for the servers to jolt and then you have no idea which direction they went. Indie games have better servers than this. Bethesda just got paid millions by Microsoft and they can't be assed investing into sorting this pile of crap. The game would be mildly fun and playable if servers weren't continuously lagging out.

EDIT: tried again in 2024. I think the fact that it runs worse than any VR game I own despite being a 6 year old Bethesda title says it all.

Lacks a lot of the polish and QoL that Risk of Rain 2 fortunately has, but it's still fun, if you don't wind up missing the speed of running around the map on RoR2 as opposed to the slog that is walking across the level design in place here.
