Game is absolutely not dead, 200+ players during noon and peak at 800 during the evenings, so what the player count is low... The game is only dead as soon as players stop playing the game!

By this logic, Project Reality and Forgotten Hope 2 are both dead games! Anyway this aside.

This game is probably the most authentic & immersive WW2 tactical shooter, with HLL coming in close as second, due to the fact some of the historical immersion is almost thrown out the window in HLL... (I'm talking to you STG-44 during Stalingrad & re-used asset Summer Uniforms bleached white and called "Winter Uniforms" >:(...)
