Mann vs machine is meant to be gatekept. Take a look at wave 6 of broken parts in operation mecha engine. The whole wave is designed to hinder bad players from completing. We have a lot of crit spam, three tanks with 35k health each, giant quickfix medics, super scouts that spawn while the lobbie deal with the tanks, snipers with a vision range of 3000 hammer units and giant crit deflector heavies. You can't cheese through it with the gas passer, you can't master it with credit exploiting alone, this wave singlehandely kept 80% of lobbies from completing. If you ever get into an ongoing game of broken parts and it happens to be on wave six, in the main menu click on mute players and see for how long they've been connected. 1 to 2 hours are normal here, the literal definition of insanity.
