One of the best survival horror experiences I have had. However, it's short. It will take you at best 8-10 hours to finish this game on normal. The atmosphere was great, resource management felt rewarding, game always made me feel like I was never safe. Until the end in which I had so much ammo and was just picking which gun would be fun or best to kill everything with. Then the ending was purely based on a decision with your obvious good and bad decision leading to their respective ending which is just stupid honestly. The DLC is fun to play after your first play through. Some of the DLC is a little repetitive and starts to bore me, but overall a good experience just personally not worth the full price. Definitely pick it up on a 50% or more sale.

Edit: completed madhouse difficulty and all the DLC on at least normal. I even collected all antique coins and destroyed all the bobbleheads while doing madhouse. Madhouse feels unfair in the beginning especially if you do it without the Wesker Handgun from beating the game once. More antique coins, items are different in each room and items are moved around. By the end it kinda becomes the same thing where you have so many items that the game is a shooter. I also ended the game with like 10 unused cassette tapes. The rewards for beating the game on Madhouse and doing all the extra things is rewarding though. I will never use the infinite ammo unless I go for the achievement of only using the storage box 3 times and beating the game in 4 hours.

Edit 2: I did indeed go back to speedrun the game, use the storage box only 3 times, healed once and now I will be uninstalling because I don't feel like replaying the DLC on their hardest difficulties. Good game
