A bit meh and low-effort, but it does make the happy brain juices flow for 2-3 days until it gets boring.
It's free, so i can't really complain.

Ghost Recon Brokepoint

I think this is another big name franchise i will sadly have to say good bye to, which bothers me, but the quality of games coming from big studios is downgrading more and more with each release, and honestly, i don't want to support that kind of garbage.

First of all, let's talk about technical issues, Ubisoft Connect is a digital cancer, then we have very annoying bugs, such as if you alt-tab, when you get back into the game you cannot escape the pause screen, no matter if you try to change menus or other stuff (I tried to go into the map menu and try fast travel, but when this bug happens, that also stops working).

You have the good 'ol falling through the map, but it happened less than in Wildlands.
And i had a fair share of other bugs, however, i don't think i had any actual crashes, to give credit where it's due.

Now to the other stuff, the game is extremely boring and dull. It's full of repetitiveness, the maps are poorly designed, the minimap is annoying because it shows you crates and intel only if you're really close, but mainly what bothered me was how boring it was.

Soap opera-like dialogues were probably the peak of how you interact with the overall story.

I am going through some rough times, so i was hoping this will be a game i can drown in for a bit, because i was a fan of everything 'Tom Clancy's' since forever, but this game makes me want to stick my head into the oven.

On the plus side, gun selection is relatively decent, i think the driving is slightly improved from Wildlands but i am not 100% sure about that, maybe i'm misremembering things.

The landscapes are pretty, but overall the map is again, repetitive and it gets boring, for the most part it looks like a just a patch of forest that was just copy-pasted a hundred times.

In the beginning the game seemed promising, but hours later i started asking myself "wait, is this all of it?".

Sadly, i cannot recommend this in good faith, doesn't feel like a Ghost Recon game.

Just like those fake gameplays at E3.
The beginning started so well and interesting, though.
It feels like 95% of the game is just scripted garbage, like an interactive movie or something.
Got it only for single player, as i don't care about multiplayer, so my review is strictly related to that, i have no idea how it is online so i cannot comnent.

I am glad i bought it before the sale ended, so i won't buy the newer ones either.
Disappointing 'experience', i guess i will go back to BF Bad Company and maybe 3 whenever i feel like playing Battlefield.

It also has some heavy freezing/stuttering in cutscenes, and guess what, all the nazi stuff is pretty much censored, which, i find ironic.

It's very short and mostly filled with just cutscenes, it feels limited and very scripted.

And people complained about the asset flips on Steam being low effort lol

I used WindowBlinds since 2006-ish, and it was nice to make the ugly look of Windows a bit better, however, it's jankier than before.
It tries to skin even applications that are set as exclusions, lots of split second visual glitches.
Not to mention, the price is a total rip off and it's a borderline insult to everyone.

It's a shame, really, because Microsoft basically went to hell aesthetic wise starting with Windows 8, and i just wanna have a pretty looking OS (Linux is still far away from being even half decent and stable, speaking as someone that has been using it since the dark days of Red Hat, so that's not an option for me, i also used Arch btw)

Honestly, this should be free and open source, maybe that way people would chime in with better code. I will refund this, sadly and look into alternatives, even if they require more work.
I'll gladly repurchase it will ever stop being so glitchy and overall low quality.

Everyday should be... SNOW DAY!

South Park is probably one of the very few things that really stuck with me across the years, so, obviously it's something important to me.
I might be slightly biased because of it, but i'll do my best to stay neutral.

I loved this game for the graphics and story, it has more of that "pure childish innocence" vibe that Stick of Truth had, and less of the twisted SP humor that you saw in "Fractured but Whole", but make no mistake, it's still what you'd expect from a South Park game.
Also, to note, this game has nothing in common with the previous games, and my observation was purely story-wise.

In some ways, i feel like it lacked some stuff, and if you're not a South Park fan, i am not sure if you'd love it too much, because, other than the franchise it comes from, there aren't many elements to make it stand out.
I was surprised that i haven't encountered any bugs, because the last few years, it's like developers and publishers release games straight from the alpha phase.

The game has simple mechanics, there's not much to learn, and there isn't anything very complex, for better or worse.

It's also quite short.

What annoyed me the most was that there's no real save system, once you start a mission/quest, if you die at any point, you will start over from that particular quest, granted, it's quite hard to die in this game.

The graphics are lovely and you can immerse yourself quite well in it (i know, sounds silly).

I did love the game myself, but i can see why some people wouldn't be happy with it, if you love South Park you might like it, if not, you might be slightly disappointed, there's not much "essence" to it, but it's a fun cute game.

Uhh.. Where do we start

I wish i could say this game is for everyone. Unfortunately, it is not.
I'm at the age where you have very few friends to play with, and you can RARELY even hop on to play with because everyone has schedules and busy lives.
If you want to play solo you'll gonna have a bad time, you'll always pretty much be outpowered, and die dozen times within a single quest.

Don't get me wrong, i am not very good at this game even after getting some play time in it. But, that's the point, shouldn't it be more for everyone?

I mean, if you want to throw extra money you can feed into Bethesda's absolute disgusting and embarassing greed and purchase all kinds of stuff that will grant you everything you'd need.
Otherwise, you'll grind, grind, grind, and that's most of the stuff that's going on.

It's frustratring because i am struggling to love this game, but ultimately Bethesda doesn't want or care if players are satisfied and happy with their purchase, as with every other corpo, they don't do things in a human fashion, they're robots.

I'll still play it for a bit but i can't say i like it. And if you're wondering why, one of the reasons is that i hate stopping things right in the middle.
I wish i could say that maybe it will get better, but... dude, this is the corporation that threatened another dev into changing the title of his game because it contained the word "Prey" and it would "infringe" their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ trademark (Imagine not being able to use a random word found in the dictionary in an entire title made of multiple words). They're money hungry ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, maybe on the same level as Rockstar even.

But enough ranting. Let's talk about the other parts.

For better or worse, the game is very deep and complex in terms of gameplay. I wish it was more simplified but even after 70-ish hours i still can't wrap my head around many things, i may be a bit slow, or maybe they just had absolutely zero direction when they worked on it.
Either way, you're in for a ride, that's for sure.
90% of the time i have to spend walking around (Over-encumbered) because of the small backpack limits, even after upgrading it, trying to find junk to loot so i can be able to craft enough ammo, fix stuff like weapons and armor and only 10% actual gameplay of shooting and doing quests.

In a way, Bethesda managed to launch a boomer game but targeted at younger people that can afford pouring hundreds and hundreds of hours daily.

I wish Steam allowed us to post neutral reviews.
This game deserves a (way-too-generous) 5 out of 10.

Stuff i enjoyed:
- Weapon selection with some very cool stuff, such as a guitar sword, a mini nuke launcher, even alien guns. Gun design and models are great.
- The atmosphere is very immersive. Everything feels like its radiating with depression (pun intended), on this matter, this game does it perfectly.
- You can build your own C.A.M.P and build your house the way you want it, you can place decorations and such, design the rooms/walls. It's one of my favourite aspects of the game
- The player base is pretty cool and they often would like to help you. I only found very few griefers so far.
- The variety the world brings. There's so much diversity in the view, from absolute hell-ish wastelands to grungey parts of the city to beautiful floral landscapes, with many things in between.
- World events are pretty cool, and i really recommend you to participate in them when there are others there

Stuff i didn't enjoy:
- Very big problems that existed for years and were never addressed, such as freezing in the loading/start menu, becoming stuck between props in the world and not being able to get out. For example, i just got stuck few minutes ago between some props when giong down from a building. I cannot fast travel because the inventory is full (of course), all i can do is leave the world, which means good bye to my claimed workshop...
- So much stuff is locked behind a paywall
- Totally not worth it for solo casual players, but if you have friends/time to play with them, it can be pretty good
- Fast travel costs bottle caps, which are pretty hard to find, and it usually costs a lot
- Speaking of fast travel, you can't fast travel if you have too many things in your inventory, which, you'll most likely have.
- 15-ish years later, Bethesda still hasn't learned how to do an inventory system, with enough slots to piss people off less, with proper organization and sorting
- Nightmare level up system in the beginning, i already wasted most of my energy on the leveling up and getting stuff because i couldn't do quests properly (Hint: I still can't..)

This game keeps teasing me, but ultimately fails to deliver and make me feel any sort of satisfaction. It's just a grind that never ends. By the time i will have enough stuff to be comfortable going around doing quests and just killing stuff, my wish to keep playign it will be gone.
Maybe they want to make players feel absolutely miserable for immersion purposes.

Bottom line: If you're young and have time and friends to play with at any time, you will have a blast, if you're a solo player, not so much. This game keeps leaving you wanting for more but it just doesn't happen. As a solo player, 90% is grind, 10% actual gameplay. There's little to no point playing this game alone. MMORPG or not, it doesn't matter.
Mediocre in a very grotesque and morbid way

Edit to add some further:
I'm now above level 100, it just doesn't get much better. It's only addictive, but not the enjoyable kind.
I spent like 8 hours making my house/camp as best as i could, next game, i got an error my camp couldn't be moved, i have a blueprint of my entire house saved and there's absolutely no place i can build it because it's apparently, somehow, bigger than the building area. I googled and it's one of the many problems that existed for years. But good job, Bethesda, milk people for money and don't fix any of the bugs.
All that work for absolutely nothing, because the devs were hired from Fiverr or something

Beautiful bulky ♥♥♥♥

If you're a dopmine junkie like me, you might enjoy this clicker.

It's the usual grind-grind-grind and a lot of clicking, to the point i was scared i will break my mouse (just few months after it got out of warranty)

What i didn't like very much was that it's too linear, you can't cut corners or be smarter with the items you equip, not to the point at which it makes any difference.

It's a great fun game at a very decent price, with some humor, and many things to keep things interesting, lots of clothing and whatnot.
Plus, you play as a beautiful ♥♥♥♥.

Woah. Pretty metal, i'd say

I did try games in the same "flavour", like shooters with metal music, but this is different.
I love metal music but i am very picky, and while the music in-game is not all perfect, i'd say it's pretty good, with few songs being really great.
Art is beautiful, so are the desolate levels in Hell. It's all a very special kind of beautiful.
Plenty weapons to have fun with, each with their unique ability (Ultimate), and you even get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ skull that shoots fireballs.

I bought this today, and i played it without too many breaks, i now finished it and writing this review.

I would say it's a bit pricey. While the game is great, and has a perfect amounth of length, not very long to get boring, not too short to make you crave more, it kinda feels a bit off price-wise, but that's probably because they also have to pay the musicians.

All in all, it's a great game, with a very chaotic atmosphere, reminds me of Doom and Quake very much, and that's a very good thing in my book.

While you cannot add your custom music just from few clicks, the devs enabled some modding. It's a very complicated process that i am too old for, sadly, but maybe in the future there will be an easier way (Installing F Mod Studio is fine, but all that importing songs in another software and locking the BPM and all that is very finicky)

I strongly recommend this. It's just great. It's a game where demons are preparing for their boss battle with YOU, and they end up dying like ants.

Fun concept/premise, not-so-good execution

The idea of the game is fun, chaos inside corpo, a bloodbath.
You have weapons, helmets and shields, and it's pretty funny to have a character wearing a cardboard box on his head while using a ping pong racket to knock out his enemies, you even have some clothes you can unlock and customize your character.
Overall it's fun, but my main problem with this game was the fact that it's not properly polished, animations are a bit annoying and slow (I guess?), and the gameplay overall isn't smooth or that satisfying.
The difficulty is also pretty annoying and pointless, you'd expect to get more XP from a harder level, but i don't think you do, at least not enough to make it worth it.

If you can get this from a bundle or on a sale you might have some fun for few hours, and maybe you won't be bothered by the issues i disliked.
