I will be 100% honest with you on this review. War Robots is a flat out p2w game. You first start the game with bots (ofc for any game that is a moba game or just a game like this, bots are the first thing you deal with, and you have like 3 or 4 matches with them before dealing with actual people). Don't get comfortable with that, because as soon as the real match start just know there is no match making involved, so you will be stuck with the 2 basic bots you are given for free, and your teammates will either also be on the same path as you being f2p, or p2w.

Now you will heavily know someone is p2w when:
1. their bot is absolutely maxed out along with their weapons.
2. their bots barely take any damage, but will make sure they will melt you like butter.
3. Even though you have 2 bots and you some how mange to beat them 2 times, they have that last bot that will melt you like butter.
4. They have weapons you know they had put money into the game just to get.
5. They have bots you would had to hope to get in a pull (oh yeah there are bots that need their "puzzle pieces" just to obtain).
6. Will likely gangbang you. By letting one of their teammates (pawn) to let you shoot at them while you're getting filled with holes more than a swish-cheese would have.

Now on top of the p2w players, you have people who will get in your way and either:
1. Get you killed.
2. Block your shots.
3. Kill the enemy before you even though you was dealing with it all by yourself (and because possibly they're p2w they have that over power weapon).
4. Be one of those people that get themselves killed first.
4. Will not back you up because there is no map, to your team know where most of the enemies are at.

The 3 game modes they have are Quickmatch, Domination (this is what you'll be playing and stuck with until you get to I think either level 9 or 10 (don't quote me on that, I didn't pay much attention, but it might be 10 just to be safe), and Team Deathmatch (oh and no once your bot is destroyed you can't just wait for it to be brought back).

I don't know how long the wait queue is for Quickmatch, but for Domination the queue is like 20-24 seconds of a wait (might extend to 50 seconds or a minute). When the match start normally the objective is to get to one of the checkpoints, claim it, to earn points and kill the enemy to get more points. But it isn't like that instead it's ignore the check points and kill all the enemy bots because this game mode is like 9 minutes long (I think, every time I look up at the timer its either 5 minutes left or 6 minutes left). For Team Deathmatch the queue says its about 24 seconds, but it's more like you're going to wait a minutes. In this mode you expect to be able to reuse your bot to respond and get to the max set point right? Well no, instead once your bot is destroyed you move to your next bot and try again. Once either team is completely wiped out the winning team that still has their bots wins (so yes, the score points you see is completely useless and is meaningless).

So here are the pros and cons.

Pros:
1. It's a "realistic bot game" as in the bots will be moving slow unless they have a feature that makes them move faster, or at least jump a certain amount of distance (only the 2nd bot you get for free can do the boost jump, the other bot can't)

Cons:
1. This is a heavily p2w game
2. You will get gangbang alot, there is no such thing as getting good in this game at all
3. You're stuck with 2 free bots until you decide to farm to unlock the 3rd hanger and buy another bot.
4. Your teammates will get in the way, get you killed, take your kill, get themselves killed or just not provide backup.
5. In Team Deathmatch it's not even about the score but if all the bots are dead.
6. Once your bot is destroyed in Team Deathmatch it's out for good, until the next match is started.
7. In Domination match it doesn't matter if you got none of the checkpoints to gain points, since it only matters when all of the enemy bots are destroyed.
8. Because it's more of a "realistic bot" game your bot will move slow as hell.
9. Rockets that track will hit you even if you move trying to get away, it's that magical type of tracking they have in the game that makes it much more of a pain (only way to not get hit by it, is if you're somewhere like under something or at an angle so it can't touch you, but good luck with that since your bot moves too slow to even get behind cover).
10. I don't remember if this is after every match or when you level up but the game will be like "hey why don't you spend some real money on this game to get a little advantage" and it's annoying and dumb.
11. The music they have is just bad, and no not when you start the game when you're in the hannger, but when you're in a match itself.

You will have less fun if you're playing this game for free due to the amount of how many times you will get screwed over with your teammates and get screwed over by the enemy team. Only way you will have fun if you indeed give up money to the game, buy the bot that will tank every hit but dish it back out, and buy the weapons that will melt someone like butter.
