For some reason F2P shooters always try to replicate popular FPS games, to a tee. I believe it's a very smart business model, however for the most part they usually fall short of feeling, or they're incredibly parasitic with microtransactions.

Delta Force, so far, is neither. This game delivers the feel of classic battlefield, with a slightly more refined Run 'N Gun system that is reminiscent of classic CoD games. My only issue is the load times. I only have M.2's in my PC, so every game I have is on one of them. I could not put it on a faster drive, and yet the loading times are between 3-4 minutes to load into a match, and to get to post match results. It's unfortunate, but man, the game is so damn fun that I don't really care. I'll pull up twitter and scroll for a few minutes or just vibe until it loads. The BF games are 20-30 minutes each anyways, gives me a cool off period between games.

This is a good game. I'm reading weird things about "Chinese Anti-Cheat" so "obviously it's a data scraper" and other weirdly racist jargon. As far as my protection is aware, this game is clean. On top of Windows Defender (which is surprisingly good), I run Malwarebytes in the background to monitor my traffic. Nothing's pinged.

Anyways, the game is free, it's a big ass download but it's worth it absolutely. The microtransactions are PURELY cosmetic (or, some will unlock a gun earlier than you should have it, but that's whatever) and all actual content is available to earn via playtime. Download this game. Do not let this game's playerbase die. As they improve and I imagine show time again their non-parastiic monetization, I implore you to give them a bit of money. Buy the battlepass, buy a skin, whatever. I downloaded this game today and have put 3 hours into it, which for a dumbass like me who has the attention span of a goldfish, is a lot. I've vowed to myself that if I put 20 hours into this game, I'm buying something in the shop equivalent of $20, because at that point, they deserve it.

This game worked my PC so hard that my CPU fan gave out.
It was already on its way out, but it was hilarious tbh.
CPU was at 98 degrees C before I realized what had happened.

Gg 6/10, game is easily an 8 or 9, excellent upgrades this year, but this port is an abomination.
Just stop putting it out on PC, you genuinely do not care about your PC playerbase.

buy it on console

This is my first Street Fighter.

I've played handfuls or random fighting games, but never the big one, until 6. It's absolutely gorgeous visually, runs like a dream (some updates have hit performance but hotfixes fix that pretty fast, nbd) and feels intuitive enough to pick up and learn without being overwhelmed. Frame data being completely accessible in training is amazing, I don't know how to do math so it doesn't help me but it helps my friends that do understand simple addition and they can explain it to me, very cool.

Since this is my first Street Fighter, I don't really understand the hate for Drive Impact/Drive Rush. I love both of them, even if I can only react to DI 1/20 times, that's a me problem and nothing to do with game design. My only complaint when it comes to Drive Impact is how far you stumble when you block it, but that's just another mix you have to be ready for. I'm getting better at it, and if I can, anyone can.

With the launch of MK1 being absolutely heart-shattering, SF6 is THE must have fighting game of 2023.

It's really hard to make single-player chess appealing. The Ouroboros King makes it seem like this was the obvious way to do it. Tons of different units that have their own movements and strategies, that upgrade into STRONGER units with THEIR own movements and strategies paired with some slightly overpowered units that only the bosses have access to make this game an absolute pleasure to play for chess fans. Highly recommend, cannot wait for more updates!

Absolutely littered with cheaters, no skill based matchmaking and terrible netcode.

Obvious cash grab, just play COD Mobile honestly.

please learn what your cards do before going online.
the eight minute timer is brutal as hell, and I've had the feeling I've been being roped a few times already.
server issues make it hard to even finish a duel atm, but that's to be expected with an insanely popular new game, no big deal.

game is not at all p2w, Konami is giving is plenty of free gems to pull/craft out a deck of our choosing. I personally built a relatively on-meta blue eyes deck in about four hours, just missing a few extra deck cards and effect veiler to complete it.
Pretty much exactly what I've wanted from a YGO game for forever, personally very happy with the final product.

To the people saying that this isn't "casual friendly", duh. It's a highly competitive TCG, it's not gonna be welcoming when you face people who've been playing the TCG for years.

I figure once the game is out for a week or two and good players work their way up the ladder, the bottom-rung will be a little more welcoming, but for now probably steer clear of ranked if you're either not familiar or not willing to play meta decks.

The balancing is pretty bad, as is the case with most auto-battlers.
But it's fun, the battles are fast and there's no time limit between them so you can take your time and plan your strategy.

Although at the moment though there's really only one strat in f2p which is dog, and a couple in p2w which mostly revolve around puppy and butterfly with melon buffs. It's pretty dumb to see the same set winning every game but, whaddya gonna do.

absolute horrible online experience

edit: turns out i was downloading PGA Tour 2K21, still a stupid game though.

edit 2: no hitstun on a fighting game is laughably bad, it's still a bad game.

edit 3: this game is worth $10, no more
