Let me start off with MO2 is an amazing game. Great graphics, great combat mechanics, good crafting system, huge open world. I love the game itself. What isn't amazing is the fact the CEO's "vision" is a single server based in EU that can't handle their player base. This means you'll likely be sitting in a queue all day and you have a small chance to actually play the game if you work. The "queue mercy" only works for if you get disconnected while in the queue. If you happen to get in and your client crashes (happened to me twice now) then you're put back at the end of the queue and have to wait 12 hours to play again. Honestly I want to love this game, I really do, but at this moment I can't recommend it to anyone. The CEO needs to either open multiple server locations in separate parts of the world (one for NA, one for EU, etc), or figure out a way to boost the amount of concurrent players on a single server by 5k players or more. If neither of these happen unfortunately I see the game dying pretty quickly. Honestly I'm surprised it hasn't lost 90% of the playerbase already given the amount of negative reviews. Post this kind of comment in the official discord and you're met with a bunch of sympathizers that worship Henrik(CEO) as a God that can do no wrong. His vision has failed and he's doing nothing productive to help fix it. Don't even get me started about ping differences in PVP when it comes to playing against an EU or AU player as an NA player. This game has a huge NA following and an NA server would do just fine if Henrik would just get over the fact his single server vision isn't going to work if he wants a large playerbase. Hopefully they figure something out to increase max player size, but it's doubtful, and until they do I would not recommend anyone purchase this game.
