puzzles are fun, hard if you are a dum dum like me but makes good use of a VR space and mechanics

Here's my old review of hot squat 1:
Never in my life would I have found the act of squating enjoyable. Who would have thought that being in a low poly 80's gym with electro pumping music and a score board comparing me to the world would make squating fun. My wife loves this game, and for that I recommend Hot Squat ^_^


Now with HS2 they've definitely improved the premise. Still low poly and kinda amateur-ish but now there are unlockable skins, different modes, different maps, different music. I love to shuffle it into my workout, it really pushes me to go farther than I would normally give up from the pain just doing regular squats and the fact it makes leg day enjoyable is worth the money alone.

but its super fun its like an arcadey version of blade and sorcery, weapons bend like rubber to deal with the pass thru VR games can have, and its very cartoony violent

its almost lethargic tho slaying a bunch of buff cartoon dudes in the arena

you can also play with a pc player on a controller just to include onlookers, makes for a fun party game

one of the most unique locomotion styles in VR. easy to pick up but hard to master

unforch because it's free it draws lots of parents gave kiddies oculus for free crowd, and for a game with black monkeys you can pretty much expect a bunch of racist kids. at least you can report and mute them but it's annoying doing that over and over

would still recommend because its fun as ♥♥♥♥, if you can manage to get a friend group to play privately its some amongus level banter/fun

its fun, stealth shooter. but it felt kinda dated VR mechanic wise. I'm going to mark yes, but i'd only get this but if it was on sale. I personally got it bundled in a VR indie bundle

this game is so stupidly simple, yet extraordinarily fun. it's one you look at like "meh another VR eXpErIeNcE" but when you actually play it, you get hooked to the pureness of the mechanics. im very casual at IRL ping pong and to me it feels spot on, with the added bonus of never needing to pick up the damn ball that bounces across your room

fun to just play with a friend and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and chat while you play since its not super serious (unless you want it to be and play online with randos)

i like it, it's a asymmetric co-op puzzle platformer

played it with my SO, we got thru a bunch of it, but still havent beaten it

it's great for the novelty but its a very unpolished experience. some of the puzzles are hard but then really easy right after, like its not a consistent scale increase. and the platforming for the 2d player is kinda floaty. its not like a snappy platforming experience but its hard when you compare to like mario odyssey which is obviously some of the best platforming out there.

I think it's still worth it, just for the unique idea. it could be better executed but until a game like that comes out that's better this is still worthwhile to play

sorta like a stealth / puzzle game. like many people was really hype about this from the demo

it was fun, i liked the quirky portal-esque type humour. but my interest waned and i've never beat it. i read another review that was kinda spot on with the "i killed all the bots then circled back to figure out some obscure puzzle." But I ended up just giving up and playing other things


maybe youll have more patience idk, try it if it seems like something youd like. might be ok as a demo to non VR enthusiasts kinda thing, but the demo version does that well enough

good tool to just watch videos or browse your pc in VR. can invite friends or go to public channels to stream the content which is cool to share movies or sports or w/e

must have in your VR kit
