This was a really good port, I never played the 2d but it was one of the first devs that I recall that really took the time to do VR controls right when back then everyone was kinda just throwing teleport as the only mode. Plus the graphics are really pretty for a game it's age

havent beaten it just cause im not a puzzle guy- I have to be in a mood for it, but when I was, it was fun
the cmd / console portions where kinda boring since you just stand there in VR but they were ok for story telling

overall i would recommend if you like puzzles, and if not maybe get on sale

unplayable on index wont even load

theres a fix in steam forum for this somewhere but it didnt even work for me still and it wasn't like it was hard fix to do

at least I got this in an indie bundle, id refund this instant if i bought this

eh it's free but i wouldn't really keep it after seeing it once

yeah, its cool, its fun to watch. I specifically got it for the GRiZ "show" after having seen this advertised on reddit a couple times

its hard to explain but it feels really slapped together, like its too overloaded with visuals at once (this is coming from a psychonaut) and the all sorta just blends where itd be cooler if things changed up, lots of things dont feel like timed to the music because it just looks like its pulsating on a preset timer. griz's album just plays on a bunch of large screens in the environment like its just streaming from youtube

idk its cool, my wife is a big GRiZ fan like I am and she liked it, but like The Wave VR was more specialized I felt, and the raves in VRchat and stuff are way cooler as far as trippy visuals to music go

i played this with my SO over discord which i think you arent supposed to be able to talk to the other player in the real online in game but it was still really fun just bullshitting and trying to describe what the other was doing or trying to find or just figure out the puzzle to bring each other closer together over time

it was a really fun bonding experience, really put the co-operation in co-op

its a wave shooter but probably one of the best in VR imo (at this time)

i go with 2 shot guns, 2 uzis, and a katana, and you move my ninja leaping or leaping into walls where it auto runs you across the wall. you can even enable running up a wall and back flipping if you can stomach it, which I can and its really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ matrix badass cool to do feeling wise. you can get new weapons and upgrades to skills. basic mission structure, kill all mobs, or progress to end of level, or survive waves. but it works and you feel awesome.

theres actually multiplayer which ive only ever gotten to try once with a friend since its dead online and its pretty alright in co-op. PvP is just super imbalanced and is basically like running past each other and trying to be the first to 1 or 2 shot the other one

oh and the graphics look great (:

it's cute but after one time id uninstall unless you plan to show someone VR that's really not a gamer. like a parent or elderly or something. I guess you could always just re-download it before they come over to prep

its basically like a flash game but in VR. suuuper simple concept but it plays well. you could probably play something like this in 2d but it feels good in VR being able to overlook it all

i havent played since i had the vive, and never really had enough friends who have VR to play this, and it was kinda just alright solo

i'm holding out hope to play with friends one day but it already kinda feels janky already so I hope by the time that comes it doesnt already feel too old VR mechanics that wont be as polished as more modern games are

giving it a thumbs up because itd probably be ok if you had multi but I wouldnt get solo and at 25$ even for multi its steep

the defacto "show people what VR is" game for me

all ages, makes excellent use of the space, really shows how things interact in ways a pancake game never could, short but concise, while still having enough that 2 or 3 people can try and all get different experiences.

not something I would play again myself after "completing" it but it's easy enough any n00b could pick up when showcasing

think counterstrike surfing, but with jet packs and grappling hooks to maneuver. oh and gigantic bosses like shadow of the colossus that function as levels themselves. it feels like attack on titan swinging around using the momentum and centrifugal force. it took me idk 30mins - 1hr to really "get" the controls but once you do, omg it's like flow state, you can just nail turns and do crazy tricks. plus you upgrade as you kill the minibosses and you get faster and can fly longer. half the fun for me is just doing tricks off things like its a giant skate park

seriously if you like unique locomotion styles or ever played any source physics based mini games like surfing or bunny hop then get this immediately.
