Terminator: Resistance is a hidden gem for fans of the Terminator franchise.

The game does an excellent job of capturing the dark, dystopian atmosphere of a world dominated by Skynet, immersing players in the gritty struggle for survival. The characters are well-developed and relatable, adding depth to the narrative. The story is engaging, with plenty of nods to the original films, and it’s enhanced by meaningful choices that genuinely impact the plot and the fates of those around you.

One of the game’s standout features is its atmosphere. The environments are bleak yet captivating, and the sound design—punctuated by the haunting Terminator theme—pulls you right into this post-apocalyptic world. While the graphics might not rival the most visually stunning games out there, they are still solid and do a great job of conveying the desolate, war-torn landscape. I encountered no bugs or technical issues during my playthrough, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

And by the way, if you want to see the original cutscenes as Teyon envisioned them before Sony pushed to censor them, search for the Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker and set the FOV for the two corresponding video sequences to 100.
