Your beloved best friend and you worst enemy’s favorite game.

An instant classic. Everything great about the older Baldur's Gate CRPGs with modern finishes and stories to tell in every corner of the map.

If you only played at launch, you owe it to yourself to give this game a go in its proper state.

Utterly appalling in its current state. Game-breaking bugs and crashes, inadvanceable quests, matchmaking when it wants to...The beta was a better game than this!The worst part of it all is that the core game, if you like button-mash combo combat and just-one-more-drop loot cycles like I do, can be truly fun. You just can't dodge the poor craftsmanship long enough to enjoy it.

Who doesn't love the Isaac universe?

The game takes a few runs to get your eye-twitch looking at the right thing, whether it's teeth, bones, poop, or pee. But when it clicks, you get into an erratic, empowering groove that makes you feel like going deeper and hitting harder is the most natural thing in the world. Then, you die.

Can't wait to see where the updates take it. It could use more content, for sure, but looking at the way Binding of Isaac grew, there's no reason this won't follow.

One more card... one more floor.

You suck until you don't and suddenly your run is a fluid ballet of exploding bodies and boss domination.


I don't know where the development is going but I'm along for the ride.

Simply put: a modern classic. This game will never not matter, up until the inevitable heat death of the universe.
