Good game (at least the expansion Heavensward is) but do not play it on Steam, just use the Square Enix launcher. The game goes on sale far more often on their launcher than it does on Steam, and owning the game on Steam provides no benefit whatsoever.

I just finished Heavensward (end of free/starter edition content) yesterday after 411 hours according to Steam. The remaining content, Shadowbringers, is still $40. It has been on sale twice on Square Enix's store since I started playing (it is currently $16 on the Square Enix store). If you play the game on Steam, you can ONLY buy through Steam.

I've beaten FF7, 8, 10, 12, 15 and 7R and I think Heavensward is up there with the best of them. This is the only MMO I've ever played.
