Magnificent game with a tragic story that teaches a lot about life.
Impressively executed - as a longtime fan of Syberia series I would like to say well done Microids and thank you for this masterpiece. I loved every aspect of it.

With each new patch the game somehow keeps getting worse and existing stuff breaks.
Lobbies are broken to the point where it's almost unplayable. Servers are terrible and there is a massive input lag to interaction actions, like opening the doors etc.
When the lobby glitches and you leave you will get a penalty before you can join another one. Not to mention that if someone leaves the game as soon as it loads there is no penalty at all, ridiculous!
What is the point of such system?
There is also an overpriced DLC with a new game mode which feels like playing an early alpha iteration of it. It's been weeks since the release and the basic stuff still isn't fixed.

There's something great about this game - no matter how many times you die you will not get frustrated because it's so damn good lol. At least that was the case for me and I think it's mostly because of the atmosphere.

My opinion/feedback about the game in general:
- story was great and for a free roam style - puzzles and progression are put together extremely well
- atmosphere is amazing including music and sound effects
- weapons and different types of ammunition are fun to use and the combat system is smooth
- a lot of times the goal is to avoid fighting enemies unless it's necessary so I wish stealth mechanics were better (sneaking or perhaps even stealth kills from behind with a knife)
- the optional boss fights are fun
- save system is fun and creative
- UI/UX could use some improvement
- some of the controls could use improvement
- I only wish there was more monologue and dialogue (for example the main character expressing emotion and saying some recap when the new memory is added or when something new about the lore is discovered, or character reading what it says under "Examine" for each item when you try to use it, or the letters being read out loud by voice - e.g the guy who was stalking the gate keeper)

If the game had those last couple of improvements it could seriously challenge the big AAA games imo.
Overall the game is fun and challenging with a perfect immersive and creepy ambiance. The story is just about the perfect length where it doesn't feel like it's being dragged out for too long and it has a well thought out replay value.

This game is a true masterpiece of horror and storytelling. It has quite a few creative puzzles that make the whole experience ever so intriguing and for the most part the game is technically very well executed.
I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Very well made, fun and thought out strategy survival game. The UI and the controls are intuitive so it doesn't take long time to learn the ropes!

I liked the premise of the story, the new models and graphic improvements. The characters, storytelling, cinematics, voice acting, and all that are great. I enjoyed the DLC as well which is a cool little side story.

However, I feel like the gameplay could've been executed better; including movement (which feels delayed), a bit more creative puzzles and just implementing them a little better. Some of the game mechanics are a lot of fun in comparison to the previous 2 games but the controls are also sometimes just as equally annoying. For example, when you hover over the interactable objects the game hides the cursor and displays a circle around the object, but a lot of times when you move away from the object the cursor takes a while till it appears or in some cases it doesn't appear at all, which makes it unable to click another object or interact with it, and now you can see where that's going. To fix it, you have to re-enter the current view. I also encountered a bug where it didn't let me click objects or exit/enter certain areas that should be clickable and I found out that you can fix it by spamming wsad keys next to the thing you cant interact with while also spamming M1. So all in all, this game will also test your patience a lot in that sense. The game is fun, but also frustrating at times.

Camera angles are not great and with an already laggy character movement they make navigating worse. Especially when exiting and entering a new area where in 9/10 times the new camera angle will be at the opposite side AND if you naturally keep moving forward it will turn your character around and make you go back to the previous screen lol. I honestly think since WSAD movement was available, it would've been a lot better if the camera was somehow more zoomed in and closely following behind the character, or even better if there was an option to change the camera zoom with a scroll wheel and perhaps an option to rotate the camera.

The new game mechanics had a lot of potential had they been smoothen out, and there's just no way the playtesters mentioned in the credits didn't notice that.

I know that devs probably wanted to focus on a new installment, but it's a shame they haven't assigned at least 1 or 2 people that would try to fix some of the known issues in this game after the release. I understand they probably didn't want to introduce more bugs at the same time and not have a team able to deal with it while they work on a new game. Hopefully those things will be improved in the next Syberia installment!

Mald king is absolutely a must play game. A nostalgic classic with smooth controls and a very fair price considering you get the DLC too, unlike most mainstream games where it'll always cost additional money.

This story offers something unique and great part about it is that it doesn’t feel generic like other stories in the game.
However, after finishing it I have to say I was left with slight disappointment, mainly because it was too short and it’s also missing the challenging, survival part from classic mode.

The introduction, the new home building, the ability to build new stuff, conversations, radio improvement and a lot of other details made it very exciting. It also seemed very challenging at the beginning because of the starting circumstances and characters' state.

I was hoping for this story to be an average length or even half of that because moments before it ended I literally thought I was at about 20 or barely 30 percent on progress at most.
I think it had a lot more potential if it continued with minor changes from the point where it ended and allowed player to tailor the story towards the end. This would decide whether characters survive or not which is very challenging and fun part from original stories.

There is no much exploring even considering it's a story mode. Crafting and building stuff almost doesn’t have any impact since story is so short (for example; there are even cold days but it seems like it doesn’t matter if you build heater or not because game just wants you to follow the main story). It feels like there are not many challenges, no war. When the game tells you the character’s story, that’s it, it ends.

Even though I enjoyed the story and the way it was implemented with clues, it somehow felt like not a lot happens and you never truly have an impact on the actual story. It also leaves you without a clue what happened after.
I would've loved if story was just somehow longer allowing player to enjoy new content/ locations/home more which would in the same time make it more challenging and impactful from player’s side.

Summary: I do recommend this story/DLC!

The game has simple concept and straightforward game mechanics. It's easy to play and it doesn't require a lot of knowledge to start playing which makes it one of the top multiplayer horror games.

It can be frustrating at times because it has a competitive ranking system which a lot of people take very seriously but it's best to always move on from any negative games since each match is quite short anyway.

If you're a fan of horror genre and love multiplayer games I would definitely recommend checking out this game! :)
