Having lots of fun with this game! Some of the UI is plain and could obviously use some polishing, but I'm not surprised for an early-release game. I got it for 50% off and am pleasantly satisfied ... even if the playerbase is extremely low.
On my third day playing I'd only seen 4 players, the 4th was using /world chat to ask if anyone was online. So I still got to party with somebody; the party system was nice too.

I'm enjoying skilling a lot and am interested in getting higher combat levels so I can explore the rest of what's been released.
Overall, definitely worth the price. The fundamentals are solid.

Loved it since Audiosurf 1, and they made plenty of improvements in this one. The search function, while it doesn't always function, is very nice.

Nothing wrong with it - to be honest I didn't notice a thing whatsoever as I watched my girlfriend play through the entire thing. But don't get me wrong, that's not a bad thing because that means it didn't screw anything up. I must have enjoyed the graphics more without needing a side-by-side comparison.
Edit: Now that I think about it, I still experienced shadows coming down through floors. Watching my girlfriend play Nova Prospekt, she pointed out to me something on the floor that looked strange. It was the shadow of an Antlion a floor or two above us, and it shouldn't have been there. As far as I know this was a bug already existent in HL2, the only reason I mention it is to say that it's not fixed.

I love this game. I've clocked ~900 hours on it.
I like FPS games that you can get a quick start in. In most HL2:DM servers, players spawn with or near crucial weapons, making everyone dangerous and equally matched, all coming down to skill.

Enjoying this plenty despite being in Alpha and already have 100+ hours in Multiplayer :)

I used to play this all the time before it got coupled with Steam. Extremely infuriating when you spend an hour on a character and die for a dumb reason!

I love everything they upgraded, however I dislike that they simply rearranged the Lobby UI but didn't fix any online bugs, such as desync, lobby bugs, etc.
It is nice knowing the workarounds from way back when - but still, they shouldn't be necessary.
