Warning: If you do not enjoy games like the Souls series, do not buy this game.

Lords Of The Fallen has been compared to the Souls series, containing a slow tactical approach to close-quarters combat gameplay, with difficult enemies and locations to overcome.

In this game, you will control a hero called Harkyn. He is a warrior with a mysterious past ready to confront an army of demons. He was release from jail by a mysterious man called Kaslo. Kaslo gives Harkyn an opportunity for him to redeem for his crimes in a mission to save the realm dominated by demons.

The gameplay is really good and easy to learn. I strongly recommend to play it with a controller, otherwise, the game can be harder to play. The game uses a "risk and reward" system. The amount of experience the player can gain for use can be increased through a multiplier that builds up the longer the player mixes up combo attacks or avoids using checkpoints and spending their experiences.

The cons that I have about this game are about the cutscenes and the camera. They could have putted more effort in the cutscenes to be more natural. Sometimes the dialog and the movements of the characters do not match, and the scenes are very robotic.
The camera during the gameplay can be tricky sometimes. As an example, in a small room during a fight, the camera goes into an angle that you cannot see your character or the enemy, and this can become deadly sometimes. This event happens in rare times, but when it happens it is very annoying.

If you enjoyed the serie of Souls and like new challenges, this game is a good choice for you!

9.5/1O
