One of the best coop games I have played in my life. Almost no puzzle or section is repetitive, everything is well crafted and balanced. Boss battles might be frustrating if one of the players isn't used to hardcore gaming but they aren't impossible at all. I needed to check YouTube only once for a very mundane puzzle. Thought ending seems to be a bit rushed, it's definitely worth playing masterpiece. Thankfully EA Play app requirement has been dropped, hence running fine on Linux via Proton. A must play!

Great music, nice art style, fun levels and terribly overpowered bosses. I played the with my wife to have some coop fun and the flow of the game till you reach the bosses is quite smooth but the bosses are straight out unfair and unbalanced. We ended up spending half of our playtime by grinding to pass bosses, finally gave up even before the midway. Can recommend if you enjoy hard challenges. Oh, by the way, Linux version is flawless.

Quite an underrated title in Quake 2 universe. Obvious similarities with Doom 3 and lack of speed especially initial levels have made the game the blacksheep of Quake series. Just be patient, after certain transition the game speeds up. Multiplayer community is slim but check few populated servers for oldschool fun.

The game that popularized indie gaming as a genre. Not an easy game contrary to its look but worth to try.

Ideal for coop play both couch mode shared screen and online. I am having great time with my wife and cannot advice this one enough! It also supports cross-play between Linux, Steam Deck, Mac, Windows which is wonderful! However, there are 2 big issues;

1) For unknown reason, native Linux version doesn't sync save game to Steam Cloud. Beware and keep your save games backed up just in case.
2) Save games are cross-platform but encrypted on user's Steam ID. So, if you want to share your save game with a friend, the save game in question must be decrypted and then encrypted via a third party tool which is a bummer.

That's where most of the things started for Epic. Great engine, great game, good story and epic music... It kickstarted one of the best 3D game engines of all times. Yet its success haunted it decades later so much that Epic focused on money milking Fortnite powered by later iterations of Unreal Engine, they decided to kill entire Unreal franchaise. Shame on you Tim Sweeney!

PS: Play the game with OldUnreal patch for modern systems and native Linux compatibility.

Don't care what gaming urinalists say. Postal 2 certainly one of the timeless FPS classics which doesn't take itself serious even a bit. No politically correctness whatsoever, fun shooting, average humor and non existent story. Definitely give it a shot. The package also offers good native Linux and native Steam Deck support. Highly recommended!

Epic delisted and attempted to kill it by shutting down the masterserver. Use OldUnreal or 333networks master servers to play online.

You can use Luxtorpeda to native Linux version as a Steam game.
