Hey, I'm Revenant4k, but my friends call me Andrew!

My main passions and hobbies include gaming, Philippine history and politics, a bit of architecture, and of course, music. I sing and play guitar and bass, though I originally started as a drummer, a skill I still keep up with at home (thank god for practice pads!).

I'm a huge fan of progressive metal, with favorites like Haken, Dream Theater/LTE, Caligula's Horse, Opeth, Nospūn, Tool, and Devin Townsend. I also admire prog rock legends like Steven Wilson/Porcupine Tree, Alan Parsons, King Crimson, Rush, and many more.

'Snow' is the final track from Haken's 2008 demo Enter the 5th Dimension. It was the precursor to Haken's iconic 19-minute epic 'Crystallised.' While 'Snow' might have been held back by its raw production and some quirky transitions, it's one of Haken's most atmospheric and underrated pieces. It captures the creative energy of a young, evolving prog metal band. @Ryer and I wanted to hear it with a cleaner (and frankly better mix,) so we made this cover and rerecorded every single instrument.

Three of the original band members left such kind comments, which I'm extremely proud and thankful for!

This is a medley of Christmas songs, arranged in a progressive metal style by one of the greatest bands out there (IMHO). Naturally, they had to throw in a 7/8 section at the end—because, you know, prog™! Nuff said, lol.
