Don't buy this if you played Technobabylon first.

I think my biggest problem with Neofeud is that there is too much talking without getting to the point. I respect the creator's knowledge and imagination but it all feels wasted on much too long and explanatory dialogs and monologs. To make it worse, there aren't many interesting characters. Proto-J is one one of the most obnoxious characters ever. Add too many unneccessary movie references extremely out of place in a world decades in the future, and you get some writing that varies from sometimes nice to often amateurish.

The game is easy, and even if you're stuck there are obvious hints every time in the form of "I should investigate this ..." or "I should ask that ..." - it feels like very cheap puzzle design and, again, bad writing.
