You can travel freely through space, anywhere you want. Visit different planets, galaxies, or systems. Everything is randomly generated, the only thing that really repeats is some types of planets or animals (frozen or paradise planet, bird or dinosaur creature etc.), but you'll really encounter something new every time you visit a planet.

Here you can build a base, vehicles, or tame and collect creatures, which is super cool. And if you're like me and like this aspect the most and are disappointed you cannot collect any creature you like because your creature inventory is already full, you can download a great backup mod. You can collect ships as well. There's so many types and color variations, and even a special type you gotta earn - the epic living ship. You can do another questline to get a cute drone companion. Like walking on a planet and having your dinosaur, robot and drone follow you is so cool. Or flying on a giant worm, that's like the best man.

You can ride around in a vehicle and visit different buildings on the planet. Or search for the perfect spot for your base. You can even find your own little village and become the overseer and expand it.

There's honestly so much to do especially if you want to explore. There's expeditions every few months that add new quests and new items you can earn.

And the best thing is, once you buy this game, you literally don't have to spend a dime anymore. The devs constantly add new content, all for free. The in-game currency is so easy to get, and the community is very nice and when you visit the Nexus, people often give you expensive stuff just because why not.

I would kill to have a space exploration game like this as a child.
It makes me sad I still hear negative things about this game from people who only know about the rocky start but didn't bother to look at its current state. I do have to admit, I also bought this game mainly as a joke, but man, this game has been redeemed such a long time ago and they still add new free stuff.
