Not bad, but it's missing a lot that made the first one good. F2P microtransactions are meh - but they're not locking you out of any content. You're able to do end-game comfortably as a F2P (especially now that they've decided to stop being so stingy with the bags, you can get a few doing the F2P quests)

Disappointing sequel but still a great game that's worth checking out... Doesn't replicate what Dungeon Defenders 1 was all about - making it much weaker as a sequal. In my modest opinion I'd just purchase Dungeon Defenders 1 with all DLC for a higher quality experience. On the flip side I do like Dungeon Defenders 2 despite it's fatal flaws.

Second Life for severely autistic weeaboos.

EDIT: never mind, SEGA blew it. Before you had a high quality dungeon-instanced lobby game with great combat AND a p0rn game at the lobby for the severely autistic people. Now it's just a p0rn game - and I think I'd rather sexually assault a woman on the streets than play a p0rn game.

Forcing players to play an unfinished and boring Open World game rather than the Original Dungeon-instanced one is baffling.

They screwed up the player-driven economy in both games and now the inflation is off-the charts. You can no longer sell items without having Premium - something which you could very easily do, even premium players are suffering from these changes because without any FP2 sellers (which would make up the bulk of the economy I'd assume), the prices for many items skyrocketed through the roof. Fortunately you don't need the player market to do end-game content, as it's mostly just for cosmetics and convenience. But as far as changes go, this is one massive step-down and even to this day SEGA hasn't done anything to combat this.

I can see the potential in this game. It's dumb childish fun with robots, something I'd probably play back in the day as a kid.

The ultimate problem? It's pay-2-win, it's balance is horrible. Workshop will take you a solid 41 days to get a single robot (At max Workshop level, it's 21 days for a robot), you won't be able to grind gold, platinum or puzzle pieces through playing the game alone.

To make things worse, the matchmaking is terrible, you will get matched with players who have gear much stronger than yours stat-wise. So straight off the bat you are at an immediate disadvantage. This game ain't worth it, unless you want to grit through the painful start where you'll wait for a month and a half to get a SINGLE robot or weapon. Then go ahead.

Gameplay ain't horrible, it's fun in it's own way with it's fair share of quirks. Is it the best thing I've ever seen though, absolutely not. If you're looking for some complexity, then this ain't it. Game seems to be incredibly simple to the point where any idiot can master it within hours.

In conclusion? Pass, hard pass, I can tolerate Pay-2-Win games to an extend, but not this one. The amount of grinding required in this silly game, it's just not worth it. Do something else with your spare time, this game just sucks a lot.

Doesn't have cases nor' skins. Plus it has that Source game charm I really enjoy.

But like most, you'll probably get it for the CS:S textures, so you can stop seeing purple and black checkers 24/7 in Gmod.

There's a lot to cover here, oh boy.
Titanfall 2 is one of the few games I didn't doubt playing the first couple of hours - usually games tend to give it their best in the first couple of hours as a means to prevent refunds, but this one doesn't do that. It's really good, the first impression that I got from this game was amongst the best I had in recent years. It was optimized and ran perfectly fine even on below minimum requirements potato PC, the gunplay felt great and there is an incredible amount of variety of weapons to choose from. I still didn't mention the almost-flawless parkour-system and titans.

The campaign is basically a tutorial for new players where it introduces you to the Multiplayer - BUT not in a negative sense. It's not like other multiplayer-focused "campaigns" that take the PvE gamemode and add voice-lines over it (with the maps and objectives remaining identical to their PvE counterpart). Every mission was tailored well for a singleplayer campaign experience - while remaining mechanics you'd find in Multiplayer PvP/PvE gamemodes.

The graphics are stunning even if it came out in 2016, it can still pass as a 2023 game. The animations are fluid and flow very well from one animation into the other - as it should for a game focused on fast-paced movement.

So, I guess it's time to write a bit about the titans. There's 7 in the titans and they're the meat of this game. The parkour-and-frag gameplay is just the appetizer and the only reason you do so is to gather your percentage for a titan-drop. Each Titan is unique and different, one con I will state is that there's very little to customize outside of your Titan kits (which there aren't that many to begin with) and your Titan's paint (there's only camo and flat colors, so it's lacking in that department too). Titans can be put in three categories, you have your light titans (Ronin and Northstar), your medium titans (Ion, Tone and Monarch) and last but not least your heavy titans (Scorch and Legion). The differences are going to be around how many mobile skills, dashes and cooldowns and health do they have - with Scorch for example having the highest health in the game (shared by Legion) but realistically lacking mobility of a Ronin or Northstar. Each Titan feels like a joy to play, and while some are easier and more straightforward from others - you can easily find a "main" in this game.

Northstar is your Sniper titan - you'll find them playing the long-game and making potshots from across the map, while placing down some trip-wires just in case he get's flanked.

Ronin is your shoot-and-scoot titan - he has a heavy emphasis on a hit-and-run playstyle, with good mobility and ways to block out damage. A good Ronin will survive for long periods of time where as a bad one will get wrecked in the first minute or so.

Legion is your fat DPS titan - a bit adaptable in both long and short ranges thanks to him being able to change his minigun firing modes. He's all about prolonged fights as he arguably has one of the better DPS in the game, but by far rather limiting burst damage which makes him an easy target to chip down his health.

Scorch is your area-of-denial titan - seemingly overpowered on some maps, underpowered on wide open maps. His kit is all about cornering your enemies and burning them with your shield (the best DPS in the game, especially with kit, period).

Monarch is your jack-of-all-trades - very often played for her persistence on most maps if not all, she's well equipped in most situations and hard to precisely describe. Her "core" gives her upragades instaed of devastating attacks.

Tone is the complete opposite of Monarch - she's a one-trick pony who's the best at sustaining fire and covering choke-points with smoke in which only she can see through. The best shield in the game, very good at supporting your titan frens.

Ion - he's pretty cool I guess.

To prove a point, every titan treats the map differently and creates very cool scenarios.

The parkour is cool too :)

TL;DR great MP game with tons of replayability and style
