The most gut wrenching, heart warming, and emotional story I've ever seen put to the medium of videogames. In a list of games most impactful to me, and my outlook on life, this would make the number one spot. This game makes you bond with the protagonist in a way other games don't, you as the player aren't playing as Niko, you're experiencing this journey with them, hand in hand side by side. Choosing one of the two endings you can get on your first playthrough was one of the hardest decisions I've made while playing a game. Because like the name says, you only have one shot. That means no do-overs, no getting both endings, you're locked into the one you choose.

Ultimately, this game has the best ratio of hours played to emotional impact of any other game I've played. It's also one of the few games where I'm content with not getting all of the achievements, because going back to replay the game would sour the original experience I had. This is my one and only 10/10 game. It has great puzzles and gameplay that involve environmental elements and file navigation. It also has extremely charming characters, the likes of which you'll remember even long after you've played the game. Please get this game, support these devs, provide an environment in which games like this thrive.
