I partly enjoyed this game for the gwent, which I did only know from the Witcher 3. I thought the story and overworld gameplay was mid, and the sidestories repetetive, sharing almost always the same structure.

But as soon as Barnabas was introduced, I had to completely quit out. I have never actually seen a more anti-semitic depiction of a character in a videogame. It is one thing, and completely okay, to have a character that is greedy for money and not trustworthy, traveling around selling shady trinkets. But to depict this character as the complete jew stereotype, and call him a jewish name (Barnabas Beckenbauer that is), is beyond tasteless. In fact, it is anti-semitic. Which is, what I suspected in the Author of the books, but wouldve never imagined to be that blatantly translated into the videogame.
Even if the character in the books may be already named and described as this, they shouldve recognized and steered against the reproduction of discriminative stereotypes. But they did the opposite and seem to completely lean in on it.
