Not only can you fish, but you also are able to swim in the area where you're fishin' to reach herbs and plants across it.

Anyway, Sea of Stars is great. Music, combat, characters, pacing, biomes, pixel art, dungeons. Top notch. And if you don't like weaving, it's the perfect entry.
