Now that the game has been released i can tell my opinions about the game based on the gameplay i have on various versions of early stages and a game after the release . I haven't played the game a lot but i think my thoughts make a rough picture about the game on your mind. First of all let me say that straightly if you enjoy realistic games and military games both buy that already, though it may not be possible since if you are into those genres you've already had that game in your library meaning that you can't buy the same game twice for yourself so maybe go for one of your buddies maybe? Anyways even if you are not into realistic stuff but into military games you should give chance trying on a free weekend. If you are into realistic stuff go and buy on a sale. What i mean, i guess you've got(t)en the idea, is that this game is a game you most likely won't regret purchasing. So you can go for the full price too but they raised the price tag on the full version so if you were waiting for the release and haven't bought just before the release date (it was possible because they announced it and if you were waiting for the release that means you were following the game so you would have probably seen the announcement) this is not good for you. But still if you have the money that you can indulge yourself a lot with you can buy it on a full price.
What this game offers is many things but at the first couple of games it may feel like you are constantly walking on a landscape and you may not even be able to see a single enemy. This may be discouraging however you shouldn't be discouraged and keep your consistency. You'll find yourself in one of those dramatic war movies eventually and feel like a real armyman trying to fight the enemy forces on different places.
There are a lot of maps and they are really big and well designed. Graphics are so good but the optimization was not that good so your computer might have difficult times. You really feel yourself immersed into those cool maps and there's another thing that adds depth to the game and it's the communication. I have never experienced such thing in any game. There are literally squads in this game and they have leaders and squad members communicating each other, leaders communicating other leaders, one of the leaders is also the commander gives orders to leaders and also members talking other squads members... Leaders also can divide their squad into several fireteams but i don't know if can they speak on a special channel. So there is a constant communication going on and it is really no joy if you don't have a microphone.

Sounds in the game really push you into the war and make the atmosphere even better. Sounds of gunshots, soldiers screaming with pain, artilerry pounding the ground... It is really something stands out for this game.
There are so many different roles one can play as from an ordinary rifleman to a medic and from a crewman who does the logistics and stuff to a tank hunter heavy anti-armor role. Each role feels different. The inventory items are different looks are slightly different but most importantly what is your team expect from you and what are you supposed to do is different.
The soldier moves are detailed but, let me use another game to give an example, not as much as Arma 3 in my opinion. But for instance you can pull one of your injured friends through the battlefield and it is really nice. When you switch between your weapons you have to be careful about timing because it takes a while and you wouldn't like to come across with an enemy while doing so.
The interface doesn't show a lot to keep the realism but it shows enough to be convenient. It shows your stance so that you know what position are you and don't jump to see if you are standing up on your feet or no. It is kind of realistic because you already know if you are standing or crouching in real life too. You can't see your bullet count however you can see how many magazines left and they turn into red as you consume them. Also there's a compass so that you don't bother yourself with an extra key. Map is also real nice you can track your allies and all very well and detailed.
There is a different spawning system that i don't want to get into the details of you should figure it out by getting familiar with the game because this is not a tutorial but a review but they've changed the system a lot and i can't even know what to say about it. There are different game mods but people usually stick to one as they usually do in other games. The maps are really big that there are different layouts for the mods and each feels like a different map. So there comes the need of vehicles. There are a lot of vehiceles and i hope they add more. You have to use them carefully though because they use tickets. There are also buildable stuff such as sandbags, machine gun posts and mortars so they can be used strategically. There are different factions in the game and each has their own inventory according to which faction are they too.

What i don't like is that there was an optimization problem and i don't know how is it right now.
Also one thing that i don't like is some times maps feel empty and sometimes buildings feel empty. Also it would be really cool if everything on the map could be destroyed. There were little bugs but i am not sure about the current situation. One other thing i really wish that the game had is the dedicated servers. As far as i know the game doesn't have any dedicated server and there isn't matchmaking system so it make you feel its absence sometimes. Most of the servers that has low ping are full. I hope developers won't stop and continue to add new maps, vehicles, weapons and factions, they used to have a roadmap you can check it on the game's website and the game also has a development kit that you can upload to workshop which means that the game supports workshop.

Overall, yes, i recommend.
