2064: Read Only Memories is a story-rich adventure game that follows the story of the protagonist, you, alongside a robot called Turning. During this time you interact with multiple people in a futuristic retro-inspired world that appears to be set in America. The game follows many conventions that are typical to a neo-styled piece of media such as the integration of AI and robots as commonplace within our world, infrastructure having a heavy dependence on technology and many twists towards what becomes unearthed behind the scenes of an advanced world.

I would say this game has replay factor, especially with the multiple endings it brings. The heavy focus on text may become tiresome for some, so if you are wanting a game that is more action based this is not one that you should pursue. If you are also someone who wants to enjoy a darker more stylised pixel cyberpunk game then I'd say you should have a look at VA-11 HALL-A instead.

2064: Read Only Memories is having a spin-off come out that is planned for 2022 titled Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER, and this appears to be very ambitious and an adventure game many can look forward to, especially those fond of both this game and cyberpunk/sci-fi genres. It also appears to have characters from this original game with their stories from the past, potential before this game's events took place.

I had been gifted this game while it was on sale and I would say that it was worth the money towards it, especially with the additional DLC such as the soundtrack and artwork. I would, however, not say that it would be worth purchasing at full price, although that is my own personal opinion from preferring games with darker styles and more to them than 2064: Read Only Memories brings across.
