I can easily say that Little Busters! is one of the best visual novels that came from Key, ever. How lovely the cast is, how impressive the character development, songs, the story itself, how it progresses, the funny scenes, the plot twists, the mystery are... I mean, how could it be possible that a VN is almost perfect in almost every aspect? But LB! really does achieve this.
Our story starts when the eldest of a friend group, Natsume Kyousuke comes back from job hunting and after that, lots of tantrums happen. He decides to huddle his childhood friends together and do something that was as fun as when they were a child. He decides to establish a baseball and its name is going to be Little Busters, just like how they named themselves in their childhood. But don’t be prejudiced, this story isn’t actually about baseball. It’s about human emotions and development, and most importantly, how precious the friendships are.
Our main character Naoe Riki has lost his parents when he was a child and is suffering from Narcolepsy since then. A group of children that are the enemies of the villains and the saviour s of the good people that goes by the name Little Busters saves him from his depression and grief. He forgets his sadness over the days he spent with them and they still hang out together even now, when they are high school students.
The characters that join us after the beginning of the story are also really great: the ball of sunshine Komari, cuteling Kud, bookworm Mio, and coldhearted-though-really-reliable beauty Kurugaya. Their routes are really impressive, surprising and fun too. I can say that they are really pleasing.
Of course, this visual novel isn't all about happiness. There will be times that you'll be going to the deepest point of depression, sadness and complex emotions accompanied by complex situations. You will experience every emotion, and when the time comes, you’ll get to learn the Ś̴̟̣̮̆̿̎e̴͖̟̦̔́́c̵̼̦̬̠̗̙̀͂r̴͔̯̯͉͖̎̀͛̋ͅẹ̶͇͓͊t̶̡͚̝̍̀͛͑͠ ̷̗͔͓̺̊̒̌͘o̵͇̬̻̙̖͂̆̀͗̾͠f̷̫̗̩̗͎͋͑͝ ̸̨̳͉̤̑̕̚ͅt̸̟̥̬͊̄h̵͈͉̿̃̎͘e̴̪̩̣͑̐̄̔͜ ̷̻͐̓̍͌̾W̸̻̲̒͐̿̑̕ơ̸̘̰̹̩͋r̵͚̹̲̣̥͔̆͝l̵̩͕̯̦͋d̶̢̛̤̝̭̳̩̆̈́̋.
Little Busters! is a 100+ hours long visual novel that is full of content and enables you to discover new stuff maybe also including new routes every time you replay. I highly recommend this title.

Little Busters’ın Key’in şu zamana kadar çıkardığı en iyi görsel romanlardan biri olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Kadronun sevilebilirliği, karakter gelişimi, müzik, hikâyenin kendisi, onun işlenme şekli, mizah, ters köşeler, gizemler... Yahu, bir görsel roman bu kadar mı her açıdan neredeyse mükemmel olur.
Hikâyemiz bir grup arkadaştan en büyüğü olan Kyoosuke’nin iş arama yolculuğundan geri dönmesiyle ve ondan sonra pek çok tantana çıkmasıyla başlıyor. Nihayetinde, Kyoosuke arkadaşlarını toplayıp eski günlerdeki gibi hep bir arada eğlenecekleri bir şey yapmaya, bir beyzbol takımı kurmaya karar veriyor. İsmi de çocukken kendilerine verdikleri ismin aynısı, Little Busters! (Küçük Kahramanlar). Ama hikâyenin böyle başlaması sizi şaşırtmasın, bu eser sporun ana planda olduğu bir eser değil. Asıl işlenen şey insan duyguları, gelişimi ve en önemlisi, arkadaşlığın önemi.
Ana karakterimiz Naoe Riki çocukken ebeveynlerini kaybetmiş ve bir Narkolepsi (Uyku Krizi) hastası. Çocukken ebeveynlerini kaybettiği sırada onu depresyonundan kendilerini iyiliğin dostu, kötülüğün düşmanı ilan eden bir grup çocuk, Küçük Kahramanlar kurtarıyor. Riki onlarla geçirdiği günlerin ardından hüznünü unutuyor zamanla ve yaşama geri dönüyor. Bu çocuklar günümüz zamanına, liseye kadar hep birlikte takılıyorlar.
Hikâyenin başlangıcının ardından aramıza katılan karakterler de bir o kadar renkli: mutluluk topu Komari, başı beladan kurtulmayan Haruka, bıcır Kud, kitap kurdu Mio ve soğukkanlı ama bir o kadar güvenilir olan Kurugaya. Bu karakterlerin her birinin rotası da bir o kadar eğlenceli ve şaşırtıcı. Her yönden tatmin edici olduklarını söyleyebilirim.
Tabii, bu görsel roman öyle hep mutluluğun yaşandığı bir görsel roman değil. Hüznün, karmaşık duyguların, depresyonun dibine vuracağınız anlar da olacak. Her duyguyu tadacaksınız ve zamanı geldiğinde D̷̡̹̊̈́͘ü̴̳̤̮͋́͒̈n̸̺͋̑̅́͝y̸͚̩̙̠̱̑̓ͅá̸͐͑͜͠’̵͈̝͇͚̪͊̾̃̄̆͜͝n̷̼͖̻͌̀̂ı̸̨͈͓́n̸̳͓̪̬̭̭͛̎ ̶̣͔̬̽͐͌̾̿̿ͅṢ̵͔̒ı̴̜͈̏̐̾r̵̨̯̜̯̯͖͛́r̵̯̭̱̋͝ı̸͓̳̞̲̺̽͛̐͊͂’nı öğreneceksiniz.
Little Busters rahatlıkla 100 saati aşan ve her oynayışınızda yeni yeni şeyler keşfedebileceğiniz ve belki de yeni rotalar açabileceğiniz, upuzun ve dopdolu bir görsel roman. Oynamanızı şiddetle tavsiye ederim.
