This game's entire aesthetic slaps and hits every bell for me. the gameplay is super simple but soo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun and addicting. the story was probably one of the weirder narratives ive seen in a bit but not a confusing one and is just fun. give this game a shot.

Absolute Banger, had to buy it twice. Between constant showcasing of new characters with fun playstyles and the whole cast being solid designs on their archetypes that actually bring personality to gameplay. The art of the game is always touted as well done, but the music and story beats play towards that cartoonish noir vibe. gameplay is simple to understand but has such depth and you can really pull out some unique and fun setups/combo routes with the assist system being soo flexible as well.

Big vibes all round.

Sitting in training mode for fun the game.
In all seriousness Tekken 7 is probably one of the more entertaining fighting games out right now, with new mechanics and DLC on the way soon its only getting better. as a dude who jumped from things like Killer Instinct and Street Fighter, Tekken 7 was my first Proper playing of the Tekken franchise. having a helpful and supportive community around the game when it launched really got me to stay and learn the game and its crazy the amount of stuff you learn and apply in-game that make you feel a real sense of progress.
In the end though I'm a Miguel main and life is terrible for me as i can't use my arms.

You ever just look on the steam page and see some ♥♥♥♥ that you've never heard of and looks like it's kinda trash even for a somewhat indie title? The initial look of the game kinda gave me that huh this is either a gem or sucks buns. It's sort of defied any expectation but not in a real good or bad way.

The Good
The game's initial feel from the tutorial kinda gives trash vibes with how it's laid out but after playing for a couple of hours it kinda stopped holding my hand and became just a chill and fun game to play. I'm more of a life-skilling player when it comes to MMOs soo ♥♥♥♥ like Black Desert and Archeage pulled me in but couldn't hold me with somewhat high-ceiling endgame, soo I sat in casual limbo joining life-skilling guilds and trying to improve crafting to just sell items. Unlike the mentioned MMOs above, Albion Online seems to negate that somewhat with how simple it is on the surface and keeps semi-complex combat for people who love PVP and GVG stuff.

The Questionable
PVE stuff soo far doesn't seem to be fleshed out but i personally can't fully say that YET because I'm not too far into PVE content to begin with. The world isn't very interesting beyond player interactions and there's not much context to why the world is soo untamed and why our character is at one of the continents in the world. hopefully my questions about PVE and the world will be answered as I play.

The Bad
The UI and Progress bars in the game isn't well layed out and the lack of options and editing for UI makes the game less enjoyable for myself. As mentioned before, the "tutorial" is kinda lame and even after the game makes me feel like I'm on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rail for a bit. If theres any much needed changes soo far, it would probably UI, Art and the Tutorial area.

Overall the game is suprisingly alright for a title that came out of the blue for me. hope theres gonna be major changes but even if they don't happen the game isn't bad at all for what it aims to do.

TLDR: its Aight if you like grinding and PVP

starbound is probably a prime example of how, in my opinion, most survival sandbox games should feel like, bring you in with the thoughts of just going in and adventuring the first time you play. its style in art and game mechanics really pulled me in, though at the alpha launch it felt lack luster after about 100 hours, personally.

its first year in alpha was really lack luster and i probably wouldn't have recommended the game at the time, but now i feel with its proper story and diverse play styles of adventuring, combat, and building really shows how a sandbox game can really appeal to alot of its player base.

the planets feel more diverse in its biomes and sub-biomes, also the villages and outposts are more than just another thing to just walk past with its simple quests from villiagers and the mini dungeons are great to find and make you wonder why it was made and its purpose in the world.

combat feels fun with all the weapon mechanics and how they synergize with your skills and other weapons. monsters dont just walk toward you and deal damage by touching you since they have attacks of their own, which means you can capture them with the pet system and use them in battle.

finally, the building is simple point and click to place blocks and items, but with all of the styles of blocks and decor items you find or build you can really make a house or colony really feel unique. there's alot of options to choose from and its not hard to use or get creative with.

overall, starbound is a pretty good game that can appeal to a good chunk of people. the 1.0 release touched it off with a nice story and intro to your protagonists story and the worlds lore as a whole. the mechanics feel fun and overall its a pretty well designed game.

TL;DR THE GAME IS PRETTY COOL MANG RECOMMEND THIS ♥♥♥♥♥ BUY IT N ♥♥♥♥ ALSO IT HAS SPACE FART PEOPLE

Soo, my thoughts on this GAME is probably the wierdest ive had in a while. this game has a wierd community overall who just want a personal slave. there are people who play it for what its worth and thats fine. the gameplay is pretty much ripped from rust and chivalry in terms of controls and feel but that isnt a bad thing at all. its crafting is not unique in anyway and the thought of becoming king isnt as luxorious as most think when it comes to this game. overall I had a pretty fun experience. The Interactions with players were not what i usually have when playing any other survival action game. I still DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING due to its 20 dollar price for what it is at its core. Not saying i regret this purchase but some people might not get into serious RPING and the game itself soo they see the 20 dollar price as not worth. its not fun alone and more or less requires a few friends. also this game is POORLY optimized. with the visuals and smaller sandbox the game runs Sluggishly on certain PCs. Please wait for this game to become polished rather than the Unbalanced, Buggy and Spotty game that it is.

TL/DR = if you didnt love rust or chivalry and you hate survival games Dont buy this. Wait A few months if youre considering Buying this EARLY ACCESS game.
