Despite my love for the Mount & Blade series, I cannot review this game positively. It's a half baked attempt to capitalize on the good faith Tale Worlds had from Warband. While many things have been improved on the surface, under the hood it's a complete mess. The visuals are nice, the combat is nice, but everything else is bare bones on a good day. There is no sense of purpose to the game whether you're playing through the Campaign or in Sandbox, the game crashes constantly, and this is only exacerbated when you attempt to use mods (which are the only thing making the game worth playing right now). As a matter of fact, that's what finally made me write this review. The lack of meaningful updates has contributed to me yet again doing hours of work to use mods that make the game less of a giant mess, and it crashed again. This will be the last time the game crashes for me until Tale Worlds decides to do some actual work and finally finish the damn game. They already have my money, don't let them have yours too.
