I haven’t really experienced any of the bugs people are talking about but overall the dlc feels half baked. Most of the items they added seem like they don’t belong and would be better if they weren’t even in the item pool. The new survivors feel weak and clunky. Seeker is alright but feels like an artificer reskin as they could have just been new abilities for artificer. Chefs primary is easily the worst thing about his kit with having to manually recall cleavers. It feels unintuitive and I do not see a scenario where you would have to not recall the cleaver immediately after hitting an enemy. And for this being the same price as SoTV, it really is lacking in comparison.

Overall good. The last acts start to get annoying as they are more unnecessarily drawn out and convoluted compared to earlier levels. The final boss fight is just poor game design as you have to look up to see the boss but all their attacks come from the ground so you cant see what their doing and him at the same time. Aside from the poor finish the game is good.

It has really good rpg elements. But the games age really shows. Especially with the games stability. I had to install multiple mods to prevent it from crashing every 10-15 mins. Even with mods it didnt solve it completely. The gameplay itself is pretty bad, the fighting aspect is lacking compared to fallout 4. While NV outclasses 4 in rpg elements, 4 feels better to play on a gameplay side. The late game difficulty became a real pain when enemies would take multiple mags to kill but would two shot me in return. I am aware modding fixes 99.9% of this games issues, but on a vanilla perspective this game isnt it. From the crashes, to the dated gameplay, to the insane difficulty spike towards the end, this game felt more frustrating than its worth. Fighting with the game so that it worked really broke the immersion you would normally get from an rpg.
