Revision: After playing better games Ive realized how mediocre and flawed this is. A Jedi/Sith doesnt fight like attack dodge and roll simulators. Even then Ill give this a 5/10 if you ignore Star Wars logic.

For a starwars nerd who doesnt like souls-like dodge-n-roll simulator games and hates EA and Disney Lucasfilm, this game was surprisingly awesome. Full credits to Respawn, great job. A Star Wars game for starwars fans : 6/10

Pros:

-Takes elements from other games and meaningfully combines them
-Several jedi skills to mixup, makes the combat more fun than challenging
-Only lightsaber combat, reminiscence of Jedi Knight and Force Unleashed games
-Full lightsaber and Cal customization, more than a multiplayer game Battlefront 2 had, thats
saying something
-Well made environment and fauna with attention to detail
-It doesnt dumb down to minimaps and object pointers, you have to open the map, traverse
and find them yourselves, even the crucial gameplay items
-The progression and skill system are evenly distributed till the end.
-You feel like in the shoes of Cal, a padawan learning the ways of the force with you
-The collectibles are starwars lore from the clone wars and post order 66
-The soundtrack is very familiar and instantly feels starwars
-Great voice acting and sets a meaningful place for the crew in the canon
-From the HUD to the skill menu and save system, the aesthetics totally feels starwars

Cons

-Not a huge game, not a short one either, finished in ~20hrs on Jedi Master difficulty, still
have ~5 -10hrs to explore for 100%
-Few planets, even though theyre huge, i expected atleast 1 or 2 more to travel
-I use arrows to move, this doesnt let you bind WASD to arrows, had to use iCUE, id
be irate if there was any more kebind restrictions
-No 360 push or getaway skill, can get cornered stun locked and killed
-Movement controls is a little rocky for keyboard, nothing major
-No major flaws really

I cannot believe this came out of EA. With over a decade of no starwars games and for fans missing the Jediknight and ForceUnleashed games, this game is "A New Hope" and a must buy. For everyone else its just a standard Acton/Adventure game which does nothing new visually or in gameplay and is relatively short for today's standards, nothing special.
