The game is hard, and sometimes it feels like there's not a good solution, just one that's less likely to get you killed. And you will be killed a lot.

Edit after 100%ing and coming back for the new content:
It took me at least 50 hours to start feeling"good" at this game, the solution to the heavy RNG is making better decisions and knowing your options. You still might die from a hit you had an 80% chance to block though.
